These are only mockups at the moment but I have manages to create similar results (but the buttons are a tad out of place). This means I'll be moving over to Essentials DS once all the bugs are purged from it.Features:
- A fully integrated touch screen
- A party display to quickly view the pokémon's summary
- A choice of four different menu colours; Red, Green, Blue & Yellow
- An aesthetically pleasing and highly usable interface
Things That Don't Work:
- The entire Pokémon display system
- The yellow colour button
- The item icons for the F5 & F6 buttons are out of place on the real thing

You can use KelinStudios' Pokémon Essentials BW which has a built in dual screen already.

Love it all. The font looks strange for a pokemon game though. Something more pixely would fit better.

Thanks. And yeah, seedot is my all time favourite and hate the way gamefreak have frequently overlooked it when deciding on regional pokedexes for their games.

Hmmm, I kinda feel weird about the font. Especially at the battle screen, it clashes with all the other text, and it will be noticable during the dialogues too.
I do have an idea for you though. Why not completely take out the first menu button, and bypass the Pokemon screen (replace that with the trainer card). Hovering over the Pokemon icon would give you a glance at its HP and status condition, dragging it in place will re-arrange your party, and clicking on it takes you to the summary screen.

I would add those features - they are great ideas - but I don't know enough about coding or RGSS to do so, the second button is meant to be the pokégear which has the trainer card, pokedex and town map so I don't know what I'd replace it with.

Hey man. I want to apologize to you. I know I said I'll help you out...but honestly...I completely forgot about it (lol). I'll get working on the menu tomorrow, I also have another idea which I think you may like, and which I tested out before and it works. So...once again, sorry for forgetting about you.
