Description
Another fantasy fractal from me. Done in UltraFractal and PShop. The impasto technique I found, now used in a more refined way.

I didn't even know this was possible, I thought it only applied to 3D shapes...

so unique and dark...without the glossiness we so often see in fantasy art...gritty and real...Superb!

Thank you! Oh, I hate these "polished teapots" as I call some digital works

This is absolutely amazing! The atmosphere, the colour, the strokes.. It leaves me gaping. Its one of those pieces where I just can't even fathom how the hell you did it. Brilliant!

Thanks for the nice words! Well nowadays it is more of question to decide up to what artistic look I have to lead a work, the actual execution is relatively easy.

Breathtaking work! I can feel the stormy chaos & power unleashed within each curve and stroke (its as if the landscape is melting & in constant shift, more evident with the tiny hints of fiery yellow from beneath), and is also the central dragon realized wholly through fractalwork? Amazing!

Thanks a lot. Yes everything including the dragon is fractals, no painted pixels here.

Really? That's just impressive! So concrete yet still having that abstract dynamism of linework. I'm simply floored here...
Keep it up!

Awesome design

Thanks! The dragon is formed strictly by Julia fractals (at iterations of = 2).

Thank you, the atmosphere is the most important thing for me, this is what makes the mood.
