So hinawashi reccomended JewelPet to me recently! I don't have much interest in the actual show (the human characters don't do anything for me) but I adore the style and the character designs!!! I tried to re-create the style mashed with my own style and it was so fun
The background was fun and easy to make as well!Anyways, here's Sango and Chewoo! I thought about drawing Sango in the YooHoo style, but I decided that designing accessories for Chewoo would be more fun ^o^ Her charm is just a replica of a green seed, I promise

Did you know? Sango can't eat sweets if she was a real life cat. Cats can't taste anything sweet because they don't have any sweet receptors on their tongue. Instead, they have another type of receptor that can detect the amount of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) in meat. Fresh meat has more ATP but it degrades over time, and cats being carnivores, they can use this special sense to determine the freshness of meat they come across.

I definitely prefer Sango over Sapphire. Who knows? Maybe cats look at us the same way and think humans are stupid creatures who would eat "flavorless" cakes.

I always make this joke about my cat : P We think her meat cylinders are disgusting, I wonder if she feels that way about our food xD
