Description
So, Pooh's Heffalump Movie has been such a huge comfort to me lately even though I didn't watch the movie as a young kid like most people did xD My mom got sick one day last summer which made me really really distressed, so I watched lots of Winnie the Pooh to calm myself down that day. I fell in love with Lumpy, he's just so huggable and sweet! I really wish there was more art of him out there, he makes me so happy <3I always loved Winnie the Pooh, I think it's so cool that Pooh bear has been a childhood staple to people for generations, it's really just a wholesome and timeless group of characters ^w^ I hope disney makes more Pooh movies, even though Christopher Robin was such a huge disappointment >.> The 2011 Pooh movie was super great even though it flopped financially... Anyways, I just won't ever get sick of watching a bunch of plush friends going on adventures in the perpetually sunny Hundred Acre Woods ;;w;;

As a kid, when I saw this movie, I only found it cute and colorful.
But now I'm grown up, everytime I think and remember the story, it makes me bawl and cry overwhelmed like a pitbull abour to be rescued.
Lumpy reminds me of my childhood, and also of a character from a fanfic (a storytelling one, not a Character to Reader, or anything typical) I'm reading now; because of how this cute heffalump feels throughout the movie...it's the same I and that character felt, he in the fanfic timeline, and I in my childhood.
This movie is a real tearjerker, even if I cried a little with Mufasa's death or "Remember Me" too
;-;

This was so nice to read!! Iβm so happy my drawing of Lumpy and Roo struck a chord with you, I think itβs really beautiful when things like that remind you of things that are important ^w^ I watched this movie on a day when I was stressed to the point of feeling ill and not wanting to ever leave my room, I coped by surrounding myself with the characters from Winnie the Pooh and the Heffalump movie became very comfortable and fun, it helped me forget that stress for a little!
Thank you for typing out your response, Iβve had a rough day and it really lifted my spirits that this drawing reminded you of a movie thatβs important to you, I think itβs awesome that you have such a strong connection ^w^ Take care, thank you!! π
