[Looking out there, it's almost as if everything is within reach.]

A friend of mine gave me a 12" canvas so I could help out with a little art project she was doing, and this was my contribution. A soft scene of a mountain, isolated above the clouds against the twilight sky on a distant planet with a solar system much different than the one we are accustomed to.

I stared at that canvas for quite a while before I got the idea for this landscape. It seemed like fun to draw this majestic mountain scene, and I fell in love with the idea. I added the planet because I thought it would be a cool touch

Havent done anything traditional in a while. This is done in pastel pencil. I like the way they come out on canvas. This was a lot of fun to draw, so I hope you enjoy it as much as I do ^-^
