Description This was demo in class dealing with characterization (not facial expressions, but it's part of it). Drawn on bond paper while lecturing (my students were few, so they just gathered round).

One thing through, the girl who's hugging the guy her expression looks out of place, espiecially when I think the scene there is supposed to be melancoholy...

Thank you Hehe. The guy with the grin reminds me of a highschool buddy named Gilbert (but Gilbert has a much larger nose... kinda like Ben Stiller). Yep, that's Loraen... Adding myself (not Razekiel, but just me) was an afterthought.


My personal faves here would be...
The chick on the rightmost with the lips and the guy below her who looks like Billy Idol. I guess it's because when I drew them in they felt different...

Yeah, they're different from your usual drawings. Actually the Billy Idol lookalike has a fun facial structure.
