Alright, I've had this image in my head since I watched the latest episode of Naruto. It's a widdle Haku and Kimimaro ^___^. Yes! You may not know it but this is what really happened when they ran into each other! Before Kimi ran off to witness the extermination of his clan, he and Haku decided to take a little detour and swing in the snow. Awwwww.
But anyways, the idea was better in my head then the execution. I originally wanted to do chibis, but I've never really draw them before, so I just went with my manga style only a bit more exagerated. I used color pencils and that didn't work out too well either. Poor Haku's face got all smuged with pencil . In any case, Kimi overpowers the pic more then Haku anyways.....I should have put more highlites in his hair or something to make him stand out. Oh well....I have a copy of the original pencil version....mayhaps I'll re-color it someday. Also, I wanted it snowing, but forgot about it half way thru coloring....so they're aren't really any flakes in the foreground >.< grrr. Not sure if this really looks like Haku either.....By all rights he should look more emotional then Kimi but....that didn't happen
