so.. here comes a tale.. which, of course, you can always skip if not interested in.

*Sôwilô, in proto-germanic, means Sun. Such rune, symbol, appears in all three preserved poems, Icelandic, Norwegian and Anglo-Saxon..

Sun is the shield of the clouds
and shining ray
and destroyer of ice.

Sun is the light of the world;
i bow to the divine decree.

The sun is ever a joy in the hopes of seafarers
when they journey away over the fishes' bath,
until the courser of the deep bears them to land.

*the texture comprises a scanned image of an illustration by the Lithuanian painter Vanga Gjadmantaite-Galkuvene. it refers to a folk-tale called "the Liberator of the Sun".. you can perceive the Queen and her saviour.

~ yes, i pretty much realize i spoiled any effect, but wanted to point how folklore could make you really jump into another cosmos.. and how in spite of everything, we are all these little beings craving for light, and hope, etc, etc..
