This will be my last reference before just posting general art. The last main character of the prequel arc and Oh God The Problems

Also reiterating that a lot of her backstory is gonna be explained vaguely because I want to go over it in detail in it's own story lol

Quinn is a rather cold and aloof individual. She's usually seen with Atlas, who talks enough for the both of them. She doesn't reach out too much, is suspicious of a lot of Pokemon, and prefers to keep to herself or with her team members. She actually has quite a bit of self loathing, believing she isn't really worthy of the position she's in. This is a point of worry for Atlas and Castor, but making progress with her is difficult when she only responds with sarcasm. She serves as the team's main navigator, surveying the area for items and enemies of each floor with her X-Ray Specs.

When she was a child, she and Atlas were had a very rough home life where Atlas was the one left raising her. Her inclusion in this "family" was heavily opposed, as a Pidove was seen as a liability. Since her egg all alone, however, Atlas insisted on keeping her around, insisting she'd die otherwise. Their caretakers did not care about that detail one way or another, but decided to test Atlas's patience by having him take care of her full time. She had imprinted on Atlas anyways and grew very attached to him.

Despite the rough environment, Quinn used to be a lot more cheerful. Sure, their caretakers were cruel to her, and Atlas's friend was really mean to her... but her brother was sad, and she wanted to cheer him up! She did her best to remain as positive as possibly, always insisting on seeing the bright side of things. For example, the place they were camped out at is beautiful, we're lucky we're here this time of year! It may be cold, but we can huddle together to stay warm!

Overtime, however, Quinn found this attitude harder and harder to keep up. She kept extending olive branches only to have them thrown in her face. She was constantly emotionally abused, and Atlas couldn't be there to defend her from it all. True to her species, Quinn was forgetful, and was frequently berated for this. Even after evolving, no matter how hard she tried, her memory loss didn't improve. Quinn began to get more withdrawn, less secure of herself and less trusting towards Atlas. By the time Atlas had noticed the full scale of things, their situation had escalated into being full on dangerous, and the two of them were left on their own.

The damage was done, however. Quinn hated herself and wished she wasn't born as a Pidove. She viewed herself as an idiot that was dragging Atlas down. She didn't have it in her to pretend to be positive. She just wanted to disappear. She hid herself in Atlas's bag and refused to come out.

She also resented Atlas, and hated herself for feeling that way. She knew he had sacrificed what little childhood he had to raise her, and she wanted to be grateful and she knew that he was just a child himself at the time, but she can't help but feel that Atlas is unaware of the core of her problems. Not to mention he wasn't aware of the extent of the abuse. It's complicated and really just makes her feel worse, and she tries to keep this from Atlas.

When Atlas became a bandit to support them, Quinn got in on the act to Atlas's dismay. He didn't want her to be involved, he wanted her to live a normal life. To Quinn, that wasn't worth it. She wanted to feel like she was worth something, and by putting their pursuers and guards to sleep, she got that. It didn't really help that Quinn had a knack for stealing herself, and to this day remains a bit of a kleptomaniac. Since it was so helpful, Atlas reluctantly agreed to let her tag along on the condition that she remain hidden and to let any blame fall solely on him. Quinn had no issue, just meant more bag time. Atlas also gifted her a pair of X-Ray Specs to be able to tell her surroundings from the inside. She would proceed to never remove them. Even to sleep.

When Castor came into the picture, she remained inside the bag and watched his and Atlas's rivalry from afar. She also witnessed Castor's fall, and came to accept the weirdness of it before her brother did. She found Castor annoying, and wasn't really thrilled over Atlas gaining a fixation on him. It gets to the point where she asks Atlas to return his eviolite as they can't sell it. She stays quiet for the most part until Castor finally discovers her.

Atlas panics and pleads with Castor to just turn him in and let Quinn go, to the bird's annoyance. She didn't know what she'd do if she was alone, and didn't want him to go. Castor, however, never really had any intention of turning them in. Instead, after a talk, he proposes a different idea. Later that day, he would drag the duo down to the Persian's Bounty, asking to form a team together. And so, Team Silverwind was formed.

The team was formed largely out of convenience- Castor would get the training and resources he needed to try and return home, and Atlas and Quinn would work to repay their debts and be able to sustain themselves. There was naturally friction, as most Pokemon believe the team shouldn't have even been made, but after Atlas and Quinn's past came back to haunt the entire town, things began to look up for them. The teammates all began to form a genuine bond and grew to care immensely for one another, with Atlas and Castor even falling in love and having a child together, Asha. For a while, life was good.

Until a certain mission Silverwind took that resulted in every member going missing, including Asha. They found themselves outside of the gate to their world, unable to go back inside. Not only that, but eventually the four became separated. Quinn was the first to vanish, Castor was the second, and Atlas, the last remaining member, was left with Asha until he had vanished as well. The guild was devastated, and when too much time had passed and nothing turned up, considered the four to be dead.

Asha, however, had dedicated herself to finding her family and bringing all of them home, no matter how many worlds she has to search through. Ultra space may be big, but her love for her family is bigger.

-She handled the team's forming with the least amount of grace. She often feels like an outsider on Atlas and Castor's lives, and believes she's dragging them down. She didn't really connect with her niece that well as a result. She also has... complicated feelings about Atlas having a biological child at all.

-She is Atlas's adoptive younger sister. She doesn't know where her birth family is, but knows that Atlas once knew them, so she knows about them through him. She isn't sure how to find them, or if she wants to.

-Atlas urges her to make some friends her own age. She keeps rejecting the idea.

-She has prevalent Noctowl traits, from Hypnosis to some of the markings on her stomach. Her eyes are also large and red, but she usually covers them with her X-Ray Specs. She also has a habit of standing with her legs bunched in the same spot to look like a single leg, like a Hoothoot.

-She never takes off her X-Ray Specs. Not even to sleep. They're also prescription, and won't get a regular spare even when Castor nudges her to. In the present, they sit in Team Silverwind's bag, the lenses shattered and the band snapped. (Design Note: The specs are goggles here to fit on her)

-Quinn evolved into Unfezant earlier than she should have, so she kept a few Tranquill traits into evolution, such as the plumage around her shoulders.

-Is closeted when it comes to being genderfluid. Won't realize this until way later
