Edit: I didn't occur to me that maybe some people don't know how to convert pictures into icons, so I made a pack containing all the .iso files for the icons I've made.razorphoenix.deviantart.com/arβ¦
Here's a pack with all the .iso files, Flutterfox is in it.
All you have to do is download the pack and upzip it. Then you right click your shortcut and click properties, then click the "Change Icon..." button. Click browse and navigate to where ever you unzipped the file.
I really liked how this one turned out, perfect for Firefox I think. All I really did rotate the tail a little and fill in a few blanks.
I like to give credit where credit is due, since I pretty much do nothing, but the person who made the vector for this is nowhere to be found :
I found this a while ago and even then the person who made the vector's account was gone.
But thanks to "Vexx3" for having this nice wallpaper for me to steal the vector from.

Just wondering, is this an actual vector or just a raster taken from the wallpaper? Props for giving credit though (or at least trying to).
If it is a vector I would recommend adjusting the curve on the hair to make it a smooth circle, but if it's a raster, that's extremely difficult.

You basically said you took a "vector" from a wallpaper that is in raster form. This could mean either:
You rendered the image from the wallpaper, so it is a raster.
or
He had the original vector file somewhere (like in an unposted .PSD), so it is a vector.
or
You vectored the image based off the wallpaper, so it is a vector.

I cropped the part I wanted out with Photoshop. I would have really liked access to the vector itself, but I couldn't find it anywhere.

the file gets saved as .png and doesn;t work, only icon files can become an icon(firefox is telling me this) is there any up in the icon file format? Does anyone know how to change it?

It /should/ change right away, try clicking the desktop and pressing F5. Are you sure you did it right? (did you click apply?)

If by install, you mean use this as the icon. its pretty simple, simply right click on Firefox, select theΒ shortcut tab, click change icon, then select browse, then find wherever you have saved the picture, and that should do it. This is assuming you are using Windows.

Interesting icon. I like how you make the mane flow well along with Fluttershy. It allows the thing as a whole to look much more presentable and it's way more appealing.Β
