Since it’s October, Halloween is coming up and Ruby’s birthday is this month I decided to do a drawing for all three. Basically Ruby is in a crossover with games that are survival horro but the one with Doom is the opposite: the Horror tries to survive her.
Doom: After receiving the training needed to Rip and Tear the demons of hell like a pro from the Doom Salyer. Ruby is now traveling to find a back home. Unfortunately, the demons have the same idea. Luckily Ruby has been trained for this during her time with the Doom Slayer so it’s going to be an interesting battle.
Resident Evil: Waking up in a rather large mansion with no memories on how she got there was bad enough for Ruby but to find out that she’s stuck with zombies and various test subjects of Umbrella Cooperation was just ridiculous. At least Ruby has a good aim.
PVA: A simple rescue turns into a fight for survival when Ruby gets separated from her squad and she has to fight off two different species of aliens. One trying to either kill her or capture her to put a face hugger on her to make a new alien and another one hunting her for sport. Hard to choose which one she would better prefer coming after her.
Dead Space: Ship Systems Engineer Ruby Rose joined a rescue team that was sent to investigate a distress signal that came from a mining ship known as the Atlas. Ruby volunteered after receiving a message from her Best Friend Weiss who was boarded the Atlas to ensure the mining was a success as ordered by her father, CEO of the Schnee Dust Company. The message from Weiss was rather vague about what was happening in the ship but the message was to tell Ruby not to come over and try to rescue her for the dangers that were uncovered during the mining. Unfortunately for Weiss Ruby ignored Weiss’ message to stay back and join the rescue team to investigate the problem. Two hours after the crash landing in the port Ruby has to survive the various Necromorphs, uncover the mystery behind the mining ship’s crew and the people aboard of their demise and finding Weiss while dealing with hallucinations of Summer and Raven acting as different parts of her morality. If she can survive the horrors aboard the Atlas, find her sister/best friend Weiss and put a stop to the nightmare she has entered the only question remaining is whether or not she will be the same person after this event.

That’s good. My favorite of the four is both the Doom and Dead Space AUs.

Might be because of the amount of time I think about those two AUs and how Ruby reacts in some situations.

I’ve even played some of games of those two AUs as well. It has given me some ideas for the AUs. For the Dead Space one Ruby finds Schematics for a new combat and agility suit on board the Atlas. Which is created by Weiss but Ruby doesn’t know that since the name of the creator is hidden and will only be revealed after collecting the parts and resources to complete the suit.

Luckily Ruby is on a mining ship, also called a planet cracker in the game, which can help her get the resources to make the parts for the suit. The only downside to that is that the ship is overrun with Necromorphs, crazy people, parts of the ship needs repairs to access other areas and the size of the ship is an obstacle as well.

Yup. From what I learned about the ship in Dead Space 1, it can lift about four trillion tons of a piece of a planet and can hold about a thousand people on board. So the Atlas is similar to that ship in this AU. The other challenge is what was mentioned in the description of the Dead Space AU: the hallucinations. The hallucinations are Raven and Summer each resenting Ruby’s morality. Plus other hallucinations of a member of the rescue team she was with.
