This is fantastic! The celestial hues and the filigrie of Islington's robe makes a great contrast to Croupe and Vandemare. And the Hitler moustache you gave one of them was Β nice touch.Β

Gorgeous! Its delicacy reminds me in a way of Charles Vess' work- which I love SO much, so the comparison makes this extra awesome.

I really love this--the composition is beautiful, and the liquid flow of the robes/wings down at the bottom is reminiscent of the wine in the book. You've captured that 'light made physical' aspect of the character really well! And the way you drew Croup and Vandemar behind the angel is almost amusing, yet creepy at the same time, which is perfect for those characters. Brilliant job!

the warm colors are suiting perfectly to the picture. they create kinda warm and pleasurable athmosphere.

I need to look into some Neil Gaiman... I recently bought Coraline to read before seein' the movie (which dun come here 'til May..). My cousin keeps sayin' how good (and creepy) it is! haha
I also have another book by him..about wolves(??).
Honestly I feel like a pretender being in art and not knowing Gaiman's work more personally than I do (...and I damn well SHOULD be ashamed! I realise and have come to terms with this...). lol

Agghh but it's so good. I think coraline and anansi boys are my favorite of his novels. And it is good. And creepy. His novels have great vivid imagery in them....good for the artists XD
