This is my first critique, so please pardon if there is anything... off about it.
First off, what caught my eye first was obviously the massive flames shooting from Charizard's mouth. Although I do like the colors that you mixed into it, I see some sloppy, one colored lines on the edge of the fire that doesn't seem to fit the picture. Other than that, nice job on that part.
Another thing that I really liked was the emphasis you used on the shading of different colors. The blue on Charizard's wings look very nice and the shaded areas fit the rest of the space perfectly. Also, the shading on the back of its head and its limbs make a nice contrast to the brighter areas. Good job on that part.
You also did a very nice job on the arms, legs, and tail color wise. The reflection of the flames on Charizard's limbs really add a nice tone to the picture itself. (I really like the flames on its tail. XD)
One thing I noticed was that Charizard's right arm looks a lot shorter than it's left arm. I'm not sure if you were aiming for the right arm to be bent backwards or something to that matter, but still, it looks rather off.
Not a very big thing, but I thought it would be important to draw it up. It's two front fangs seem a bit... off. They look like two white plastic edges jutting out of its snout. If there was a bit more shading and maybe even some color into it with some changes to the overall shape to it, it would've been better.
In all, you did a brilliant job on this illustration of Charizard. Charizard has always been one of my favorite Pokemon and seeing it this well done makes me like it even more. Again, great work on this. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w… " width="15" height="15" alt="

Thanks for the critique, I appreciate it. I think everything you said was on the mark. this image is about 4 years old now I think and well, WELL, below my current standards. I'm thinking it might be helpful for everybody who likes drawing and charizard, if I posted either a crit of the piece myself or made a brand new one, and explain the improvements from the previous picture.

I mean, I honestly wouldn't have minded if he asked me first to use the image in some manner. All he would have had to do is give me credit for making the image in the first place. Really, had he just posted the image, but gave no description, I would have just requested that he ask me first. But, not only didn't he ask me, he attempted to pass it off as his own. I'm really not sure why somebody would waste their time like that...really strange.
By the way, I love the comment you made on his profile page asking him how long it took him to make his art. I'm guessing about the time it takes to press ctrl+C, ctrl+V. (hillarious)

This is damn pwnsome. My only issue is the Zard's shadow is too soft for the intense lighting it's flame is obviously giving off. The shadow should be sharper, more jagged, with no smoothness around the edges. That smoothness makes it look like the light level of the scen is low, but the dark shading on the Zard makes it clear the light level is high. This makes the picture contrast too sharply, drawing attention away from the action of the picture when it's noticed. Also, it's horns look a little short 
Other than that, very nice job ^^.
