Description
I need to draw a picture of Razz's suit/body thing. After a couple of months in the ICU of the hospital, the doctors come to a surprising descision - they decide to give Razz his half-life. Since the government was held responsible for the Tekkon incident, they were requested to pay for all medical services that Razz required.
So a mechanical suit was designed. It was made of a lightweight but impervious manmade metal. Special jet wings were installed into a compartment in his back, able to fold up or be removed if necessary. The joints of the suit were metal platings able to slide over each other and covered by a protective layer of rubber.
The suit itself is self sustained by a combination of solar powering and carbon dioxide recycling. Due to the fact that Razz was initially dead below his neck, the suit takes care of such things as blood pumping, air circulation in the esophagus and bloodstream, digestion and nutrient distribution, and disposing of any waste products as a backup fuel source.
The suit also takes care of some brain functions that corresponded to organs that he no longer has: his heart, lungs, liver, pancreas, kidneys, stomach, and 'the private parts' (eew but true). It is possible that there is a very high-security password protection on the suit's inner database that may have been programmed for more than that, but it is unclear. There is no apparent way to access the computer inside of him except by removing the chest plate that connects to the shoulder plates, shaped like a V.
Razz is unable to age like a normal person does, because of missing hormones. His suit is not bioartificial, so it is not so much a symbiosis as a necessity for survival. While his head can and will eventually die due to being organic matter, it will not show the aging that he goes through. Note the missing 'private parts' (HE NEEDS THAT TESTOSTERONE FOR MANHOOD GOSH DARN IT).
It was mentioned some time after the procedure to the government that the original blueprints for the suit, and much earlier a sample of Razz's blood, had gone missing. But it's such a big world out there, nobody ever thought to go after the culprit. Who'd find them, anyway?
