Aphidflight x Mallowbrook Half Clan Litter, Silkyflower's Child

Mallowbrook and Aphidflight met by chance following the explosion at the gathering. Both had been hurt, but not so badly they couldn't do some duties, and they were patrolling the borders and hunting to try to support their clan. They spent some time talking, and tentatively became friends. They would meet a few other times, and their friendship grew stronger, until they would actively seek one another out at the border. After the attack from the dogs on the camps, which Aphidflight and Mallowbrook had met just before, it took a full moon before they would see one another again. It was because Aphidflight had been out of camp during the attack overnight, and had broken the rule about going out alone- he had been on camp arrest as punishment.

When finally he was free, Mallowbrook and Aphidflight met once again, and in the heat of the moment, she asked him to court him. For the next two weeks, they met as often as possible, enjoying their time as a couple.

However, Mallowbrook was harboring feelings of doubt and guilt. Eventually they became too much, and she came to Aphidflight to break things off. She was in the relationship for the wrong reasons- because she was angry at Sagestar, and she felt like this would somehow make her feel less guilty about her anger at her mother. Because she was lonely, and afraid, and he was her friend... but she didn't love him. They parted ways that evening...

However, not all of Aphidflight left with him.

Mallowbrook discovered that she was expecting not long after. In a panic, knowing Aphidflight was the only potential father, she begged Silkyflower to help her hide the pregnancy. While she didn't reveal who the father was, she made it explicitly clear she wanted nothing to do with her kittens- she wanted them out of her and away from her, preferably without ruining her reputation to the entire clan.

Silkyflower was hesitant, but agreed on seeing the desperation in their patient's eyes. They would help Mallowbrook keep the secret, providing her with herbs to disguise her scent somewhat, and advice on hiding the pregnancy otherwise.

Mallowbrook brought one other cat into the fold- her sister, Lavendersky. She trusted her not to tell, and to keep the secret. She also knew that to pull this off, she needed support from someone other than Silkyflower. The three of them hatched a plan despite all their hesitance and uncertainty- when Mallowbrook went into labor, or was close to it, they would go into the territory to gather herbs. Mallowbrook would deliver her kittens, and they would return to camp claiming they had found outsider born newborns, abandoned. If the labor took too long, the story would change- they had found a kitting outsider, and had attempted to help her deliver her kits, just for her to ultimately die anyway.

When all was said and done, the kittens would be given to a caretaker, and Mallowbrook would never look at them as hers.

However, Silkyflower had wanted a family for some time, since losing their own adopted mother, Paleshine. When the kittens were born, they grew deeply attached in the time it took for them to get back to camp with them... and they ultimately ended up adopting the three kittens as their own, taking the necessary herbs to nurse them. Lavendersky was an aunt figure for them as well, under the guise of having found them and fretting about them still.

Following the Rebellion, when the kittens were a moon old and first leaving the den, their father saw Shinekit- Shinekit was identical to him, aside from paler points that took after Mallowbrook. Aphidflight loudly announced the situation, which devolved quickly- Mallowbrook was exiled for the next 6 moons, and Aphidflight renamed to Aphidpaw. He began to form a connection with his children despite pressure from Sagestar not to allow it.

Their grandmother, Sagestar, is also rather deeply involved in their lives.

Eventually, after the rebellion concluded, they were given a choice- stay in RiverClan with the cat who raised them, or join WindClan to be with Aphidflight, with the knowledge that doing so would mean they would never return to RiverClan, and would sever all connections with their family there. In the end, only Shinepaw left to be with his father- and Sprigpaw was apprenticed to Springrose, a friend of his biological mother's. Mallowbrook soon returned as Mallowpaw, but slept in the warrior's den to avoid her children.

Time passed, and he became Sprigsplash. His biological mother was renamed Lostheart. His journey is still entirely up to you to decide from here...

Except. Very recently, his Pasi passed away in a horribly incident associated with their derealization episodes. They wandered into the river, and drowned- found by Lostheart herself after nearly a week. They were buried on the spot, not even able to hold a real vigil... what will this do to Sprigsplash?

Information
- Sprigsplash must remain DMAB- however, his gender identity may change to anything wished
- His design is set if you wish for it to come with any art. However, if you have an alternative design that fits, we will consider it!
- This is a cross clan litter- while these kits had grown up believing themselves to be outsider born, they did find out that they are half WindClan and half RiverClan.
- These kits were raised to be very family oriented, and were raised in the medicine cat's den by Silkyflower. While they had no direct connection to the kittens, Silkyflower lost their adopted mother and had been craving a family since. They are a good parent, and love their children deeply. They are referred to as Pasi or Adda!
- Sprigsplash's personality is fairly open to interpretation- however, the general gist is that he is a kind hearted boy, with a bit too much rambunctious energy and not enough awareness of the world.
- Limited traits are able to be bought, as are accessories- however, we ask that no traits be majorly life impacting in the long run at least for now! This means no disabling traits, please!

Sprigsplash
Sprigkit was named by Silkyflower for their brown hues and speckling, similar to a sprig of plant with berries
Sprigkit manages not to take too heavily after either of their parents, perhaps the most conspicuous of the entire litter. They are a dark russet tabby, with black undertones, some white markings, and freckles. They have medium-short length fur, taking more after Aphidflight. They also have bright amber eyes, like his.

Family Links and Explanation
The mother of these kittens is Lostheart , and Aphidflight is their father. However, they were raised by Silkyflower , their "Pasi" or "Adda". Sprigsplash's littermates are Silentcry and Shinestalk , the latter of whom now resides in WindClan.

Lostheart's mother is Sagestar , the kitten's grandmother, and her father is Asterpool (NPC), their grandfather. She has two siblings, their aunts, Lavendersky and Sorrelstrike . She also has their great uncle Swiftstorm, and his children, their second cousins, Cherrysplash , Littleminnow , and Bluebellblaze . From her father's side of the family, they also have her second cousin Sootflame .

Aphidflight's mother is Emberwatcher , their grandmother, and his father is Stoneheart , their grandfather. He has two siblings, their aunts, Lantanaspark and Flurryfreeze - who was part of the rebellion. He has a half-sister as well, Crowtail , who is also their aunt.

- If you leave the group or do not want to play him anymore, Hayley, Wallflower, and I will be taking him back
- We have every right to revoke the character from you if these rules are not followed- however, we will let you know if something is up beforehand!
- We expect there to be proper communication with us about this character! If you have a plot or ship in mind, please run it by us- we are unlikely to deny anything, we just do best with open lines of communication so we can be aware of what's going on with him!
- You must be active with him! We understand if you have to take a hiatus, but please be active! Don't allow him to collect dust!
- This character has had some degree of required family upheaval in their lives- however, once their final decisions were made and the such, we do ask that they not permanently lose contact with or hate their family (other than Lostheart, she's free real estate). We can discuss momentary hitches like this, but we do ask that there be a game plan for re-establishing a final set up before we approve a plot of that caliber! Remember- for Sprigsplash this means he has mostly lost contact with Shinestalk and Aphidflight, the only required family connections are those he's with in RiverClan!

- The prefix is set in stone, but you may change his suffix if wished. However, it is a nod to his grandmother, Sagestar, as she was once named Sagesplash.
