So...this took a bit longer than I wanted it to. But I didn't find any color combos I felt really happy with till now so...lmao

This is a entry for next-next gen contest . I really love Angel, his design is so perfect and an even balance of changeling and draconequus.

Species: Pony/Draconequus/Changeling hybrid
Build: Thin, delicate build; much taller than the average pony (about a head taller than Celestia)

Occupation: Spy, Alarm System, Heir Apparent

Background:

Vedalia was born to a clutch of dud eggs. Curtain Call wasn't around and honesty doesn't know about his daughter, thanks to Angel removing the memory of their tryst from him. She was the only one to hatch and Angel, though very disappointed to see her eyeless and scales pale and colorful like a ponies, begrudgingly accepted her as his heir. Because she was born without eyes, Vedalia had to navigate around the hive with clicks and vibrations. This was a seen as a weakness by all and growing up, she spent a lot of her childhood silent and alone, harassed by the members of her hive with no protection other than her pincers and claws. Groomed to one day be queen and later on spy, she was taught quite harshly by Angel, who saw her coloring as a weakness and Vedalia became self conscious about it, even going as far to use her changeling magic to change it to a more suitable changeling tone.

Vedalia grew up into an emoteless girl who made a habit of mimicking others voices so perfectly that she could cause havoc and confusion if she projected her voice. She is her grandfather's granddaughter, and loves to cause hysteria to his subjects, especially those who displease or insult her or her father. Prideful of her strong pheromone magic, her father Angel raised her as a spy to exploit it and bring in more 'loyal food and subjects'. She also alerts the hive to threats, using her pincers and long ears to feel for vibrations. Prideful of her usefulness in the hive, and her power over them, Vedalia would frequently rub it in her aunts face, much to Parasites displeasure.

Surprising to many, Vedalia's favorite in the hive is Maggot. She enjoys his company and practiced fighting on and with him as she grew up. Maggot is confused by her attachment but just shrugs it off and lets it begrudgingly go so he can nap in peace. They mostly bond over frightening the lower ranking changelings and even eating them. If she feels really generous, she'll disguise herself and go out into the nearest towns and bring him back a pony to chew on while she enjoys her own.

- Like her pony father and grandmother, Vedalia actually has a very sweet, soothing voice. She was teased about it mercilessly by Parasite- called 'a pretty pony princess' in a high annoying tone- and that's when she started to mimic others voices. Outside the hive however, she finds her voice extremely useful in luring ponies; especially lustful stallions and naive young foals

- Even though she looks very pretty and as delicate as a rose petal, this girl drools copious amounts of pheromone tainted saliva constantly. One would think its because she doesn't have teeth or anything. But no. She just produces pheromone magic at a crazy rate that it manifests in drool. She uses it in her hair because she believes it will draw others to her more easily.

- Vedalia actually resent ponies with a passion after being told she was weak because of the pony blood in her veins. She loathes disguising as one and much prefers transforming into a griffon or a dragon instead.

-Has a secret butterfly collection. They seem naturally drawn to her and after a childhood of chomping on them in an attempt to make them fear her, she hides them in the deepest part of the hive where no one goes and grows flowers underground so they can feed with her magic. This is honestly the only case of Vedalia being soft and open.
