Description
Here are a bunch of weapons for TF2 based on the same weapons from FTL.Base lasers' stats:
Replaces the minigun on heavy. Can be revved up like the minigun, using right-click. Rev up time is 0.696 seconds.
Fires projectiles that travel at 1875 Hammer Units per second and travel straight forward like a soldier's rockets. Fires every 0.8 seconds. Has no clip and doesn't need to reload. Has 32 max ammo.
Does 65 base damage with a damage ramp up of 125% and a damage fall off of 52.8%. Damage fall off occurs at longer ranges, allowing you to do more damage at longer ranges. Crits are 3X damage.
1. Vulcan Laser
+ Each time you fire, this weapon's firerate increases, firing 0.2 seconds faster, and capping at 0.2 seconds. This effect resets when you un-rev this weapon.
+ +50% maximum primary ammo.
- 75% slower firing speed.
- No random critical hits.
2. Heavy Laser
+ +60% damage bonus.
+ Ignores damage resistances.
- 25% slower firing speed.
- You move 25% slower while revved up.
3. Burst Laser
+ Store shots by revving up and not firing. For each shot you stored (up to six shots), when firing, You will fire all your stored shots at a rate of 0.2 seconds per shot. Then firing speed will return to normal when you've fired all your stored shots.
+ +25% maximum primary ammo.
- 20% less ammo from pickups and dispensers.
- No random critical hits.
4. Ion Gun
Replaces shotgun for engineer.
+ Hitting an enemy with the projectile from this weapon, removes 10 ammo from their reserve ammo (not clip) and removes 25% charge from charge based weapons. (sandman, shields, pomson, not ubercharge or cloak)
+ Hitting an enemy building with the projectile from this weapon disables it for 8 seconds.
+ Reloads when not in use.
- This weapon does no damage.
Base Beams' stats:
Replaces the pistol for engineer.
Hit-scan beam which fires constantly so long as you hold down the fire button. Beam has no ammo and doesn't need to reload or recharge. Beam has a base damage of 3, and deals this damage every 0.075 seconds. The beam has no damage ramp up or fall off. Crits are 2X damage.
5. Halberd Beam
+ Crits enemies who have damage resistances
+ Ignores damage resistances.
- -35% damage penalty.
6. Mini Beam
+ This weapon is drawn 50% faster.
- This weapon is holstered 50% slower.
7. Anti Bio Beam
+ +35% damage bonus.
- Does not do any damage to buildings.
- -25% health from health packs on wearer.
