Green and beautiful indeed! In the suburbs I don't get to see a lot of this, so its nice
to have a photo now and then to remind me of the beauties of nature

Luckily I live smack dab in the middle of the state. So, if I pick a direction, any direction, I can find neat little places like this within minutes. Love where I live!! And I can share it with all of you! Or, if we go out a little bit longer, a couple of hours in any direction there's even more cool places to find. From the coast to fossil beds.

Oregon, if I remember correctly? That's so cool to be surrounded by 
so many interesting areas! I always wondered how you were able to
find so many interesting shots! I'm in Memphis, so I have to go out
a bit further for nature-related sites. Don't have to go far for food, 
though

Yes, Oregon. I literally live in the very center of the state. So I can head in any direction and get to all kinds of interesting places. I live in the high desert, but go like 30 minutes west, then you have lush forests and lakes, or if you go far enough the ocean, go east, you get more and more flat and desert, go south, that's where our larger lakes (Crater Lake) and some mountains and lava fields are, north you get more mountains and forests and eventually our larger cities.

Wow, that sounds amazing The perfect place to live for a photographer. Every
direction holds something new for you to photograph Lava fields, you say?

It is very green right now! We've been getting a LOT of rain, so it is super healthy out there.
