I saw this pose in movies, boxers do this before they fight. Is that like a bow/obeisance in other competetion, or a kind of pray for safty?Related content

I think Raph is as much a street fighter as a ninja. He's seasoned and experienced, but I have a feeling he would "fight dirty" when soloing on his own. I can totally see him embracing this and other methods of fighting. Anything to give him an edge over the bad guys. Leo would NOT approve, nor would Splinter, but when push comes to shove in battle, his brother might be glad for a little drift from the traditional way of fighting.

I think it's both. Before a fight they do what's called a Wai Kru Ram Muay, it's a pre-fight ritual in which each fighter pays reverence to their respective teachers. Nice job by the way!

Oh he would love this but would Leo permit it. It is dangerous and maybe Leo doesn't want to see his little brother get hurt like that. Unless there is a purpose for this of course like fighting the foot in this contest to gain info or some reword.

Bad ass pic. Muay thai(thai boxing) is one of the most violent sport/martial arts in the world. Considering that raph is the most violent of the turtles this sport is just perfect for him.
