hey all..

alright soo here is a preview of current piece that i am doing for a color study... haha but not all of it!!! just a tease lol but if anyone can guess the piece with-in the next couple of hours i will start posting progress shots along the way..

for those of you that always ask... with this piece i am doing a completely new method for me... i started in greyscale well basically i did it completely in a monotone green-ish then once i was happy with it i converted to greyscale. i know i have been told for quite a while if i really wanted my work to get better i need to start in greyscale soo i could establish the correct tones and values. to be honest i have tried this alloooooot of times but always get frustriated cause for me personally it always felt like a unneeded step and i have always colored under the lines it just felt weird to me coloring on top.

i know that in the end it is just another method and alot of the big time artist out there that i look up to in the conceptual world work in greyscale first soo in order to advance myself i have decided to work a piece up starting in this method and stay with it until the end and see if it truly does come out better..

there are a couple of artist that can't not guess on this one and of course if it is guessed i will include their names from then on... if it isn't guessed correctly i will not include their names until i finish the piece
because if i include their names now it would be very simple to figure it out...lol
