Description
Left Circe, Right Killer FrostIm not particularly familiar with the DC universe and through the web i started looking for some cool characters to put together as like a League of the DC Undead. These were two of the characters i chose to use and worked on. I gotta say Marvel has a way more interesting and expansive group of characters, than DC, I guess i'll just have to let the DC universe grow on me.

Various styles and tones. Hard to figure out which one you are more inclined to use next time...
Nice work on the females.

well im just pulling poses and characters from references, i kinda am not an artist, just a human photocopier, my style with the drawing and ink tends to fall more towards Killer Frost than the one on the left

Human photocopier...as in looking and drawing only OR do you mean tracing?
I now a few folks who can't draw their way out of a paper bag with original work but can redraw another image to the tee. I guess that's how it goes sometimes. The best incentive from doing that is that you can try and gain knowledge of line structure and reason behind the conceptualization of the work.
You'd be amazed at how few artists draw strictly freehand without references these days. Myself, I only use references like when I was working on 'In the Flesh'. I think you can tell.

i reference just about everything, i dont trace unless multiple copies are required on the spot. i dunno most the time i can build a figure with shapes on my own no reference, its the perspective, angles and detail i use a reference for.

If you are having problems with perspectives and angles I would not use reference images as they only show a 2D image and don't explain the relationship of distance and structure for freehanding work. I would say that your best bet is to do some perspective line research. Try looking at a few of these [link] for ideas in case you need some help.

thanx i got some books with the basics like dc guide for penciling comics theres a chapter which discusses perspective its just all about getting it right rather than over exaggerating the shots.
