well deadpool 1st appeared as a villain, and gambit keeps going back and forth between hero and villain in the stories, like now the previous run on messiah complex he was working for sinister and the marauders.

i reread some stories i enjoyed, and use the pages for figure drawing references. im thinking ill continue selling the crap i dont want or when halloween rolls around hand em out.

if u think im gifted u should do a search on either spiderman or wolverine and see some of the superb color work of other amateurs,kinda knocks me down a couple hundred pegs. thanks though i appreciate ur support.

thanx im just thinking average and along the lines of doing pages, some of it seems hard to read here and there especially wide tiny shots where i can't tell if its a person or a lamp post. plus figuring out ways to make explosions look natural and other weird powers doesnt seem to be my thing. that last wolverine spidey page i did hade me thinking.

I agree. It is hard to do a lot of what I see in comics and add that to stuff I'm doing. Everyone seems beyond where I'm at.

me too, it takes hours upon hours to do some of this stuff, even pro's like ed delgado and blond the colorist have told me of 4-6 hours just for one page, i dont think its my coloring style that sucks its the idea of letting my ass fall asleep and concentrate at the desk for 6 hours straight

yea tell me im a bit pissed i colored a pic by armando huerta and was asked to take it down by him cuz of copyright or something, guy does great traditional airbrushing, but that shit took me like 6 hours to color before posting it, ah well i guess i can just chalk it up to experience

I've asked if I could color his Spiderwoman sketch that he did. He said yes but still haven't gotten around to coloring it yet. One of these days I will. lol

i havent figured on the ins and outs of coloring a sketch, on account of inking it, i know some people print the penciled version and ink it or use photoshop, but i stick with just inked pics to color. im a rough amateur at best with this coloring and drawingso im not looking to spread myself to thin, good luck with it, let me know what u got when ur done

glad u like it, need to find new brushes or maybe do somemore, a different kinda spider, i got kinda perplexed with the background, but i saw this more as either a pin up or splash page. great art, i must say it's interesting to have seen venom evolve over the years, from mcfarlane to thunderbolts now. i thought this colab went excellent we should try it again some time! keep the kick ass drawing coming man!

yeah but venom's quite a big guy and the newer one mac gargan from thunderbolts is way more psychotic, i think this is gunna be a rough fight for spidey

Well the newer Spidey isn't the same old Spider Man anymore[something to do with being a spider totem or something], making him better as well, too bad he isn't in "Iron Spider" Suit, that might have pushed his odds up a bit[more "protection"{though not from guns it would seem, they were super villain ones though} and extra "hands" in the form of thouse waldo's]. Too bad Iron Jerk had to be a little too nosey and "bugged" spidey's suit.
