Description
Going from the left, the first 2 are from Olive Garden, and the last one is from a semi-local Greek place. The first 2 come with a bit of a story. I ordered from Olive Garden's Cucina Mia deal. It's relatively cheap compared to the rest of the stuff on the menu. You get to choose the pasta, sauce, and meat (there is a vegetarian option in this section, too). You also get an option of soup or salad, like with all their entrees. I got the salad. I got the spaghetti, asiago Alfredo sauce, and chicken meatballs. It was really good, until I got a little way into it towards the center. Found some weird shaped things buried under everything. I don't eat pork, and it looked like sausage to me. 0_O That made me nervous, and I asked what it was. Apparently it was pieces of roasted garlic. They weren't shaped like cloves, and were an odd very dark brown color. They didn't look buttery like most roasted garlic does. I just couldn't eat that, and was still suspicious. They gave me another one without the 'garlic' pieces. It was really good. The chicken meatballs have rosemary and a bit of red pepper flakes. The Alfredo sauce had a lot of flavor, which isn't the usual, but was nice. They felt so bad about my entree, they gave me a free dessert. I got their Black Tie Mousse Cake. It was mouthwateringly good. The waiter was amazing and very personable. He gave us 10 chocolate mints, instead of like the usual 2. Couldn't finish any of that, but it made for some more awesome meals later! The last pic's of a place that's pretty well known for their gyros. They're really good. I got that and small fries. Can't see the gyro too well, but they usually pile on the vegetables, and it seems pretty big to me. I forgot that they like to dump a ton of onions on top, and didn't tell them I wanted it without. Oh well. Still good. The fries were better than I remembered, too.
