Went to the Oak Table for brunch to celebrate my birthday a day early. It’s also the anniversary of when we adopted Rosie from the shelter. It could be like we’re celebrating her, too. I got a mocha, which they make it look fancy. I got what they’re famous for: an apple pancake. It’s more like a giant apple soufflé. It has a cinnamon-sugar glaze to it. Got their breakfast potatoes to offset the sweetness a bit. I could barely get through half of the ‘pancake’. I don’t see how anyone can eat the whole thing. Get to have more tomorrow this way. Might go to Silver City for dinner.
