            Even if he earns a living by being a medic, the man thoroughly researches artificial intelligence and the use of toxic chemicals in the making of weapons and especially poisons. he has a successful robotic AI he named the Third Kazekage - it is heavenly equipped with weapons and is controlled by a touchscreen attached to one's palm.
            Sasori compensates for his stature with his temper, attitude and knowledge. And has mentioned numerous times that what he does is art. Few people hold the information, but he has made himself a prosthetic leg, after a chemical substance exploded and crippled him, as well as a heart 'device', after he suffered from a heart attack and it malfunctioned.
            After the "World Fall" Sasori wandered alone for a while until he ended up meeting the so called Akatsuki group. His recruitment was rather forced as he initially didn't want to join. The group was in need of the doctor's knowledge and Konan played a major role in his 'recruitment' by outsmarting the man and earning his respect.
