More experimenting with ink and watercolour pencil.The original looks very different. The scanner made it much lighter.

I think lighter is more effective for this. Kind of smoke-like? I don't think it would have been as nice in jarring, brighter colors.

Yeah. The original was kind of washed-out and the layer of grey was more prominent. This is just more washed out.
