That's a really cool picture you did, it reminded me of the scene from "Titanic 2" (not a sequel) when the wave, along with the iceberg from the arctic, did hit the ship.

Amusing Fact: There was an NES game made with the basic premises of The Poseidon Adventure (ship gets flipped over by tidal wave, survivors must navigate up to the keel for escape), and the cool thing is that the ship in the game bares a remarkable resemblence to the Titanic, barring a missing funnel and a few minor details.

Interesting...and not bad. Pretty good, actually. I once had a dream that I was at my high school (but it was out at sea, go figure =/) and that, at night, the "high school on land turned ship out on the ocean" was hit by a torpedo or something...In my mind, I was actually, truly terrified! I later realized (in other words, memory tickled my dreaming brain and muttered a correction to it) that the Titanic hadn't been hit by a torpedo. I had been thinking "Oh no! We've been hit...by the same torpedo that sank the Titanic!" or something. Go ahead and laugh...but I will tell you that, at the time, I was scared to death. o_o

Titanic was never hit by a tidal wave, that was the S.S Poseidon. Titanic hit a glacier in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

No, But RMS Olympic was hit by a rige wave, knocked the bridge aft sevral feet and flooded the forward cargo holds, she limped into New York
