Actually, not only is Quillspawn a natural-born magic user already (i.e. all of her powers are magic-based), but she's also amassed enough magical knowledge and skill to continue utilize magic even during the time when her powers had been stripped away from her, albeit at a much weaker level (In contrast with her heroic nemesis, Silver-Girl, who resorted to more mundane means instead).

It's really kind of scary. If she actually applied herself, and had an interest in taking over the city, or heck, even the world, she couldΒ very likely pull it off. There are very few that could stand up to her, or resist her ink... and those that don't would become thralls for her to use and perpetuate the cycle.Β
Thankfully, she seems content to simply play with a few people that take her interest and keep mostly to herself!Β
