Dominic could easily be team leader; but he’s happy to let his pupil Wrecking Ball fill that role. While the T Rex does this, he unofficially recognizes his longtime sensei as the actual leader – ever the mentor. This is a poorly kept secret in the group – second only to Dominic’s feelings for who he actually views as leader, and pines for. Since being approached by Dr. Brian Eastman, Ramon has had feelings for him – feelings that kept him from leading Team Thunder as he was nervous about working directly under Eastman…because phrasing. Ramon is of Mexican/Native American heritage and closeted his sexuality despite his physical prowess because of the more conservative views of his community. He uses martial arts programs to break down racial barriers.
A master of attacking with his feet, Dominic chose the lethal and intelligent Deinonychus (frequently confused with Velociraptor) and earned the not-so-clever call sign “Dynamic Kicks”. When it comes to combat, he is a force of nature and definitely commands respect. Despite his lethality (or perhaps because of it) he’s very disciplined and precise. He has all the chops to lead and is encouraged to do so by his number one pupil and fan Wrecking Ball – who even admits if he were gay he’d be with Dominic. Shrewd and tactical, DK buries himself in the mission and doesn’t discuss personal matters. He tries to create an image of being stoic and aloof, but he’s too personable for that – even as a six-foot, sickle-clawed dino-beast.
