Description

    An amorphous creature resembling liquid metal, “Merc” as he came to be called, laid buried in stasis beneath the sea floor until unearthed by one of Morgan’s projects. The remnant of an ancient warrior class in the kingdom of Atlantis, Merc can assume human form and reshape any part of his body. This shape-shifter's anatomy allows Merc to stretch himself into a thin skin, bonding with Tsunami’s liquid suit to form a symbiotic armor. Together, they augment each other’s abilities for greater defense.

    This “organic metal” has a strange texture – solid but less dense than most metals. He can solidify into a hard shell for protection; but when striking foes, he’s suppler to prevent serious injury.

    Merc has no definite form or gender (though perceived as male). He assumes a humanoid form but can become virtually anything except fire or gas. As a silicate-based life form, he has no discernible organ systems and is immune to poisons or physical damage. However, his mind is vulnerable as any human’s. Tsunami and Merc can communicate directly; but Merc can also use the communicator in Tsunami’s mask, should Austin become incapacitated.
