Description
Sample weapon designs for any characters for Checkmate.
Designs for Pawn, Rook, Knight and Bishop class characters.

Notice that with all the Standard weapons, I tried to incorporate the common shapes of the respective chess pieces. (if you cant see it at first, find a chess piece and look at it from different angles)

Not too sure about the standard Rook broad sword, but most rooks would use the sword and shield featured below it anyway. Pawns also carry a small round shield (buckler) with them which I forgot to draw... Didn't draw a Rook bow either because... well... I couldn't think of one...

Non-standard sword's are featured to show that you don't have to stick to these if you don't want to, as these are mostly for the mass unnamed extras that will no doubt be lurking in the background, but feel free to use these for your characters if you are having troubles designing some yourself.

I'll upload the flag designs for the shields once I've finished them.

Also, while I was looking for some reference pictures for the common shapes (as I don't actually own a standard chess set, as far as I'm aware) I came across some Zeta Gundam chess pieces (a black bishop, two different white rooks, and two white pawns) [link]
