For my Digital Media and Visual Arts class.Never thought I'd be out taking photographs
. Ah...well. The assignment required me to choose a song and take a photograph which I thought best represented it.Was listening to Is it real? by Yoko Kanno while taking this one. It's one of my most favourite songs. No...wait...it is my favourite song. It's one of those very few songs I can relate to.Sometimes I play it so much that people start thinking I'm a depressed bum
.The feeling of loneliness and detachment associated with it is what I've tried to depict in this photograph.
Figurines that fall like leaves then disappear, keep calling

Dark machines that wheeze and breathe then mock the air, appalling

This world can really be too much
I can't take another day
I guess that I've just had enough
My mind's slipping far away
I'm falling in and out of touch
Could someone please explain?
Set my mind for open sky, but couldn't fly, so sadly

Sullen eyes shed teardrop lies then criticize, now laughing

It's really all become too much
I'm not sure what I should feel
I guess I've finally had enough

Wow, I actually REALLY love this one.... how the grass is what is in focus, but you can obviously tell that that's a person in the background.... really pretty!

You're taking visual art class? My suggestion is to use photoshop to make the grass smoother. Not to recolour it; just fill the empty spaces of grass that dried out of starting to get too brown. expecially on the front one that's very focused. I assume you're trying to make it look a little bit dreamy feeling to it (becacuse of the title). and deffinately make it horizontal/ looks horizontal.
....Well if you want to recolour it; maybe give it a little bit yellow-er; since it'll look brighter. Tehn again it might not be necessary.

Thank you for the great comment.I will probably retouch on the grass...it's a very good suggestion. Unfortunately I wont be able to make it horzontal beacause the photograph was taken that way 
I actually reduced the saturation of the image to make it look a little less livelier and give it a bit of a depressing undertone.

I took this on campus (I'm studying in NTU,Singapore). The place is called Admin Annex,and the tree you see is actually placed on an elevated location from where you can see the Singapore skyline

Wonderful shot, I love the fact that the person in the distance is blurry, not just completly out of focus. It does create a real question on truths and reality. Great shot!
