Description It was almost unavoidable that some Disney princess would find her way in. I was kinda hoping it would be Jasmine, but I'm sure as hell not complaining. Elsa looks pretty damn cool too in a plugsuit, don't you agree?

I don't see how not being a fan of Frozen is really relevant to liking the particular art piece...

Was that really necessary to say? Was your burning hatred for Frozen so extreme you just HAD to make the comment on a picture of Elsa in a plugsuit? Screw off, man. Nobody cares if you like Frozen or not.

Dragon-Cana-Love In reply to CeroRose [2015-10-01 17:45:10 +0000 UTC]

I think it was, and no I won't screw off, was your burning hatred for my opinion so bad you just had to make the reply on my comment? We can do this both ways. Also I don't care if nobody cares...I have the right to share my opinion, espicially about an overrated movie and character.

CeroRose In reply to Dragon-Cana-Love [2015-10-01 21:15:27 +0000 UTC]

Well, then if you have the right to share your opinion about an overrated movie (which you state as if it's a fact right after saying it's your opinion) then I have the right to remind you that nobody gives a shit. We can do this both ways.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

Dragon-Cana-Love In reply to CeroRose [2015-10-02 01:55:51 +0000 UTC]

You speak for yourself, saying nobody gives a shit is a fallacy, by saying that you are trying to argue that you know the views and beliefs of every single person on this planet, if we bring it down to people that come across this comment that still could be a great number, so it's hard to take you seriously when you say nobody gives a shit because you're speaking for yourself and you have no way of knowing who does and doesn't give a shit.

Also I do take it as fact because it's obviously overrated, there are so many plot holes, the plot's rushed, the songs aren't that good, and it doesn't even remotely follow the story it came from, like some of the movies do from their source, not to mention it's mostly Bandwagon fallacy, and people wanting to fit in with the main crowd that made it so popular so....

If you wish to argue with me at least be a little smarter

Wait, but if you get to claim you know that they're wrong in the "nobody gives a shit" claim why do you get to claim that people only like the movie to jump on the bandwagon? Isn't it kind of contradictory to tell them that what they said is only speaking for themselves before going out and saying most that like it only do so because it's so popular? It's clear you don't like the plot and songs (and to compare the story to the original is strange considering Disney's track record) but you don't get to state those as absolute fact. Stating that your opinion is fact is not going to make it any closer to fact. I can sing Frozen's praises from a mountaintop for years on end, and that will make it no closer to absolute fact.

Honestly, you both seem to be overly belligerent and/or hurtful about this. CeroRose with their "unique and special" talk and you with your "try to be a little smarter" talk. You don't like the movie, CeroRose does, nobody's an idiot for disliking it and nobody's a mindless drone for liking it. Come on, guys.

Faulty on my part, but if you understand people and know how they function then it's easier to figure out then saying no one gives a shit, as that relies on a persons opinion, then what I said is more mentality based as humans are predictable in that front, always wanting to be in the popular crowd now there are exceptions to this.

Well to be fair, on the plot you can tell it's rushed and there are plenty of plotholes that's not an opinion.... it's fact, you can google it and see many many detailed things on that, of course you could say they are merely opinions, but even half ass watching it I could tell there were plenty of them, in it.

Plus by Bandwagon I was referring more to the Bandwagon Fallacy, as in because it's popular it must be good

Not necesarily true on the drone part some people do just do it to fit in with the crowd, even if they never had an intention to see it.

DrFrostbite228 In reply to Dragon-Cana-Love [2015-10-02 03:42:13 +0000 UTC]

No, I do personally agree there's no way to confirm "nobody gives a shit" but like I said there was no way to confirm really that most liked it because it was popular. However you did elaborate on what you meant so thank you. I personally never felt it was a bandwagon fallacy (again, personal). After all, it's common to make fun of media such as Twilight and 50 Shades even though they are, to some form of the word, popular.

And I also agree with you somewhat on the plot. I did enjoy it, but I saw flaws. Like, why didn't the mystical troll that knew more about the magic tell the parents that love was an easy countermeasure or that their plan simply wasn't well thought out? I personally attributed their hasty plan to fear, after all it's something of a theme in the movie that hasty decisions can have bad consequences (Elsa abandoning the kingdom, Anna taking off with minimal winter gear, the same Anna trusting Hans immediately), but you'd think the knowledgeable creature would tell them this. Another is what Elsa ate or drank when she was in her palace. Yet another is why nobody decided to go and collect the Princess's corpse when Hans told them she had died, or why they allowed him to become King when surely there must have been a Regent. On that matter, why didn't Hans wait for Anna to die first and dispose of the last witness that knew his plan, or even stall so that she never even found out? Or did Anna and Elsa really have no playmates in the castle, or never meet for dinner?

Trust me, I'm aware there are a good few plot holes, I didn't list all of the ones that I've noticed. Personally, however, it's one of the movies where I enjoy everything enough to either let them slide or try to apply some sort of reason to them.

I'm sure some do praise it solely to fit in. But I've also seen my share of people that entirely refuse to see it, which I've interpreted (it's not factual) in most cases as them trying to stand out from the crowd. And this doesn't make either side stupid, there's just that sort of people on any side of the coin.

Here's why I think CR was so belligerent to what you said, even if I would never condone their behavior or manner of response. They likely saw it as an unnecessary derogation, given how there was no praising of Frozen rather than just stating she was a Disney princess. I myself didn't see the comment as quite Β necessary, but there was no reason to respond in the way that they did. When they say "Nobody cares", it could seem hypocritical to some because they did take the time to write a response. Perhaps they meant to say they weren't concerned with opinions until they were delivered in such a way. After all, a Jew, Christian, and Atheist could all live in harmony under the same roof so long as none of them become derogatory to the others' tastes or beliefs.

I mean, hey, if you don't like Frozen, no problem. I'm only even here because I was looking at a Disney princess in a plugsuit, I won't judge.

Fair enough

I usually let thing slide if I enjoy it enough but it depends, for Disney I usually expect them to be quite high standard.

True some people will always stand out, or find those types of things childish, I find the characters odd looking the big eyes and small hands which is a disney norm is odd in full 3D

Oh I just do that no matter the thing XD if I don't like it I just say it XD so I get why he did it really

DrFrostbite228 In reply to Dragon-Cana-Love [2015-10-02 21:12:36 +0000 UTC]

I always assumed that other people just held it to that high a standard. I think Doug Walker did a video on that, on how every movie is going to have a problem or more but sometimes you enjoy the movie enough to ignore those problems.

I never minded the somewhat cartoony look of Disney characters. They've never dipped into the Uncanny Valley for me due to having that design, for any of their 3D movies.

I'm sure everyone will be very impressed with how special and unique you are, and how bold you are stating your opinions as complete fact. Have a great time.
