((
Muahaha
finally finished it-
a g h ))

Galdof, Dorian and Vilka had been down in the Helgen Keep for what felt like forever. Galdof had stayed in front of his sister's jail cell, leaning his back against the wall, watching her. He knew that if he dared to look away, she would try something.
But Vilka seemed to not care about him. She was internally fighting her own battle at the moment. She could feel the darkness seeping through her veins, and could hear things being whispered into her mind.

“Get out of here,” She growled, sitting with her knees on the ground and her head hung low. Galdof had taken on the job of putting special chains on her – Ebony gloves that were bolted together, making sure she couldn't move her wrists away. And, just for extra safety, chains were wrapped around her wrists and tied back onto the wall, holding her in place. “I can't control it much longer.”
“We're not leaving.” Galdof said in response, arms crossed as he watched her. It pained him to see her like this, but there was nothing he could do. “You idiot..” Vilka managed to mutter, clutching her head.

Finally, the Dragonborn felt herself snap. Galdof could feel the darkness radiating off of her. He had felt it once before.
Vilka shut her eyes in pain, clenching her jaw as tight as she could. Her eyes began to change, loosing the sanity they once held, and the colour. The beautiful shining blue was drained and replaced with a deep crimson colour, and the white was filled with a black. Her teeth had become sharp and her senses stronger, faster. Slowly, Vilka opened her eyes and looked at the two with those dark eyes, seeming to stare into them. Then something happened that was probably not expected.

She started to laugh.

It was a quiet giggle at first, before becoming louder. She stayed like that for a split moment before suddenly stopping, as a wide, sharp toothed grin appeared on her face. It was obvious she wasn't herself anymore.
Vilka stood up slowly, staring the two down, before her eyes flickered over to the lock on the cage door. She looked like a predator, sizing up when she would attack
“Come any closer, and I'll rip your head off your shoulders.” Galdof warned, deadly serious. Of course, he knew he couldn't actually hurt her. She seemed to know this, giving a small laugh once more. Vilka clenched her fists tight and began to pull her hands apart with ease, the metal chains holding her wrists together snapping and breaking, as her hands became free.

“Let's have some fun, shall we?”

((lOUD LAUGHING

Galdof tensed as he felt the presence beside him, turning to look at the now taller man. Gods, he was not going to get used to the height change, or just the fact that he was a werewolf. The same thing that killed his whole family.
Speaking of family..

Glancing back at the cage, he clenched his jaw, seeing as Vilka now stood at the door, her freed hands holding at the bars. Her lips had curled up into an ominous smile, making him flinch away. It was the smile of a monster. A murderer. One that would send chills down your spine, as it did to him.
Vilka's eyes glanced down at the lock, an innocent giggle escaping her throat. Her eyes flickered back to the two, and over to Dorian. She didn't seem fazed at all that he had blood stained on him, or that he was taller now. "Glad you could join the party," She said with a smirk.

Looking down at the lock again, Vilka traced a finger across the metal. Galdof uttered a growl as his sword was easily at her throat, threatening to draw blood. "Touch it, and I'll have your head." Vilka looked at the sword with a bored expression, before back up at her brother. "No, you won't."

Dorian's eyes twitched between Galdof and Vilka, their gaze seemingly emotionless. He was used to putting on such an exterior. Hell, he'd had a completely straight face that one time when he watched as a sword was drove through his big brother's gut. And that one time he watched as his sister was dragged off to probably be mutilated and things. He wouldn't stand by and watch anything happen to Vilka, but Gods, he certainly looked like he was planning on it. Dorian looked like he'd kill her himself.

He bared his fangs at her and growled, daring her to go near that lock again. He'd bite her fingers off. A Vilka with less fingers was better than a crazy Vilka. He had no problem tearing off a finger or two. Even if it was Vilka. But then again... This wasn't really Vilka.

((YES WE DO

This is a beautiful moment omgs))

Hearing that growl, Vilka raised a brow and turned to look at Dorian, her smirk still in place. She didn't say anything. She just watched him for a moment with those red and black eyes, loving the scene that was playing out. The female flexed her fingers, glancing down at the lock once more, before at the door hinges. She gave a low laugh, before she took a step back, and shut her eyes.

Galdof watched her carefully, not really knowing what she was doing, before she drew a breath.

'FUS.. ROH DAH!'

The male only had time took take a sharp breath, knowing exactly what was about to happen, before the power exploded at them both, throwing them back into the wall. Galdof growled in pain, forcing his eyes to open. The doors had been shattered into pieces, the metal falling to the ground. Before he even had time to blink, Vilka grabbed his neck and pulled him up to her face, a psychotic grin across her face. His air was lost as she started to squeeze, her nails digging painfully into his neck and drawing blood.

Dorian hit the fall with a loud thud, a dazed look washing over his golden orbs. But, he was quick to climb back up to his feet, shaking his head vigorously to fling out all the dust that had collected in his fur. When his eyes focused on what Vilka was doing to Galdof, his ears flattened down against his head as he growled sharpy. He didn't really like Galdof all that much, but he wasn't going to tolerate this. The room was small, and so luckily, all he had to do was pounce. He practically dived on Vilka, forcing her to let go of Galdof, landing on her with a thud. And werewolves were heavy as fuck.

He was quick in attempt to stop her, grabbing her wrist in his jaws, biting down so that blood began squirting out of her flesh. He had self control, thankfully, and her arm stayed attached to her body.

Vilka probably should have been screaming in pain, seeing as a werewolf had just landed on her and was now biting down on her wrists. But all she did, was utter out a loud laugh. Oh, how she loved the pain.

Her eyes showed no fear in them, except for excitement. She wanted this. She wanted him to attack, because oh, she wanted the fight.
With almost inhuman strength, Vilka managed to throw him off of her, using her legs to kick him over herself and into another wall. She was swiftly up at her feet, glancing down at her bleeding hands. "Come on, wolf!" She practically snarled, that psychotic grin still across her face. "What, don't want to hurt your precious girl? Well, she isn't here anymore!"

Galdof was at his feet, clutching his throat. She had managed to make quite the scratch marks. The male raised his hands, as they started to glow a purple color. Magic ropes formed once more, like they had when Dorian attacked them, and started to wrap around the female. Vilka turned to face him, her eyes seeming to burn with fire inside of them. Shutting her eyes, she started to utter out words in another language, her grin staying in place. The magic ropes around her body began to turn black, as the color went straight to Galdof, causing him to cry out in pain. Her magic was stronger, and more painful.

This time, it took Dorian a little longer to recuperate when he hit the wall. He shook his head, muzzle now stained with a blood that he didn't particularly want on him. Gods, he couldn't help but think - he might have to actually work together with Galdof.

Dorian was used to following. He wasn't a leader. Gods, he needed to be commanded. He didn't know what to do. As Vilka was busy hurting Galdof, Dorian took his chance. He rushed towards her, slamming into her back, toppling her over - which also sent him falling down as well. Thankfully, this did stop the magic. From his position on the floor, where he knew that Vilka would most likely hurt him next, he looked up to Galdof with glowing gold eyes, as if to say, 'hurry up and tell me what to fucking do.'

Galdof was more than thankful that the magic had stopped, because gods, whatever she was doing hurt like a bitch. His veins on his hands had started to become black, the darkness spreading through him, but when he was released, it slowly returned to normal.

Vilka looked up at the werewolf with dark eyes, pure hate burning in them. She did not like being underneath him, no, not at all. Clenching her fist, she threw a punch at his jaw with that same inhuman strength, and was pretty sure she heard a crack. While he was dazed, she managed to push her off of him, before she was on top of him this time. Vilka had managed to steal Galdof's dagger while he wasn't looking. With an insane laugh, she brought the dagger down onto his chest and began to stab at the wolf, not caring how much it hurt.

Suddenly, Galdof grabbed Vilka by her neck and pulled her off of him, wrapping an arm around her throat and holding her to his chest, immobilizing her for the moment. Vilka let out a shrill scream and thrashed under him, desperately fighting for release.

Gods, as soon as Vilka attacked him, Dorian started yelping like a wounded pig. That was really going to do him in for the next week or so. But hey, she seemed to miss his heart with every stab, so that was one good thing. Her accuracy sucked.

As Vilka was dragged off him, Dorian slowly, and shakily began to get back to his feet. He didn't seem to be able to stand up as tall and proud anymore, but at least could stand. His lower jaw seemed to be crooked, which looked rather odd and hurt like a bitch, but his chest was the thing that was stinging the most. He shook his head off again, and looked up to Galdof. All he wanted was orders.

Galdof at the moment, really had no fucking idea what to do with her. If they managed to hold her without one of them getting stabbed or mutilated by her bare hands, then maybe they could take her to some kind of witch in the city or something and fix her. That would work, right?

The male's hands began to glow again, but this time, a dark blue color. Vilka's eyes widened in sight, as the magic began wrapping around her neck and wrists, causing her growl in anger. The Dragonborn slammed her right elbow back into Galdof's rib cage, causing another painful sounding crack, but the magic didn't falter. Finally, Vilka was unable to move her wrists. If she did, the air would be cut off to her lungs, and she would be zapped with electricity.

Panting, pained, and tired, Galdof stood up and glared at the female. "We need to find a witch or something. Someone who knows magic."

Dorian nodded, eyes flashing to Vilka for a brief moment. He couldn't really speak in this form, but he seemed to get across what he needed to say with a flick of his head. With that, he was already stumbling out of the room. Perhaps he'd gotten the scent of something like that earlier?

He couldn't exactly carry her - unless he carried her in his mouth. So, unless Galdof told him to do so, the older brother was going to have to deal with it.

Vilka had a very dark glare across her face, mostly directed to Galdof. Blood, whether it was her own or Dorian's, had been splattered across her face and stomach, giving her a very ominous look, along with her fearsome eyes.

Galdof didn't exactly want to be the one dragging her along, but he would manage. A thin rope formed around her wrists and went to his hand, as he gave a sharp yank on it. Vilka stumbled forward, her glare darkening. "I'm going to fucking kill you-!" She started to say, but with a flick of Galdof's wrist, the same magic formed across her mouth, silencing her. Vilka ranted off in screams and muffled curses, which he ignored.

Galdof just sighed and followed after Dorian. Today had been a hell of a day.

Today had been worse than a hell of a day.

Dorian was slower than usual, thanks to his chest bleeding out, but even so, he was still faster than Galdof. He had tripped once or twice, but he seemed to be managing.

After a while, he'd stopped, ears atop his head twitching. Sniffing the air, he turned his head to Galdof, before looking away again. Where he then crawled through a bush.

"Wh- Dorian!" Galdof narrowed his eyes, watching as he crawled through a fucking bush. "What the hell are you doing?!"

With a loud and frustrated sigh, he dragged the female along after him, trying to follow Dorian. He didn't know exactly where he was going, but he must have smelled something.

And oh, he had.

He was waiting on the other side, to where he'd somehow found his way to a little opening in a cliff wall. Outside of it, there was a large pike, and various heads and skulls impaled by it. Gods, it didn't look very welcoming, but Dorian seemed sure of himself.

By the time Galdof had actually gotten through the bush with Vilka, Dorian was sat on a rock outside the cave, and he looked like he was back to normal. He was just fixing his shoulder plates, and then gently tapping his broken jaw as he awaited for Galdof.

Following out into the clearing, Vilka and Galdof both looked a bit surprised at the turn of events. Dorian always seemed to have a way of finding things that they couldn't, but this just seemed out of place.

Galdof's attention was turned to the now human Dorian, concern seeming to fill his eyes for a moment. "Are you alright?" He asked, though he pretty much knew the answer. He just wanted to know if he wasn't about to die suddenly. Vilka rolled her eyes at the question, obviously not caring.

Dorian looked to him with a looked that said, 'are you fucking kidding me', before he stopped, tuck a deep intake of air through his nose, and then forcefully shoved his jaw back into place. He let out a soft wheeze of pain, before he nodded, his voice coming out quite and pained as he held onto the sides of his mouth. "T-The witch in here. She's very... eccentric, with her decorations. But more importantly, I recognize the scent. She'll help. Won't be happy about me returning here, but she'll help us."

Dorian got up, and quietly followed in, glaring at Vilka as he passed her. Gods, he was definitely angry for the pain she had caused him. He strode in front of Galdof, clearly knowing where he was going, as he picked his way through a variety of tunnels with ease.

Eventually, they seemed to enter a large room. The cave walls were dripping with gooey substances, and there was a variety of body parts slung around the room. At the end, there was an alter, overflowing with what looked like blood.

But, there was no witch in sight.

((she'll arrive in a minute and it's going to be hilarious--))

((omg I'm scared))

Vilka happened to quite like this place. Especially the beautiful decor. Just the smell of blood made her body seem to want to move, wanting to be the cause of it all. Galdof, however, hated the sight. He had to bite his tongue to not throw up.

"Are we almost there?" He asked, glancing at Dorian's back. "I don't know how long I can keep her like this." He was slowly getting tired, having to hold Vilka like this for so long.

Before Dorian could speak, he was interruped.

Without warning, Dorian was struck on the top of the head by what looked like a bone. "A-ACK-" He yelped out, tumbling backwards to the floor.

The person whom had hit him was still nowhere in sight. "Idiot!" A voice seemed to shout, as the bone clinked to the floor. "I said that I'd fillet you if you came back! Gods, Dorian!  Do you not understand the meaning of 'don't you even think of coming back here?!'" The voice sounded like a old woman, but it was rather comical how Dorian just lay on the floor and wheezed in pain and surprise.

Seeing Dorian on the floor suddenly, the bound girl couldn't help but start laughing at the sight.

Galdof looked around in surprise, trying to figure out where that voice had come from. "Wait- He's just here because of us." He called out, not knowing where to really look. "Please, we need your help. My sister, Vilka- she's been cursed," Galdof looked at the girl beside him, who stopped laughing to glare at him with her red eyes.

But then, another thing happened.

Galdof was smacked on the head by a bone.

And finally, an old woman began to emerge. Some magic faded, and there she stood, an elf of short stature. "Idiots!" She looked at Vilka, easily noting down her crazed state, but she talked to her as if she was a normal human. "They're fools, aren't they? What absolute blundering idiots stumble into a witches coven without so much a few healing potions and doohickey's to defend themselves?"

"ACK-" Galdof clutched his head in pain, falling onto the floor next to Dorian, glaring up at the woman after she had appeared.

Vilka blinked her eyes, looking down at the males on the floor, before back up at the woman. She laughed again, quite liking this woman. She seemed smart. But still. Her eyes pleaded for the woman to let her out, but Galdof managed to stand, his head still a bit dizzy. "W-We are not fools," He said, but his composure looked like he was drunk. Vilka snorted, rolling her eyes.

Dorian had never ever thought he'd ever lie down with Galdof, but here he was, glaring up at the witch. When Galdof got up, Dorian didn't even bother to move. He'd just be hit again.

The witch folded her arms, a little necklace of bones clinking around her neck. "You're both idiots. Dorian more than you, but at the end of the day, you're both absolutely stupid. Even a giant is smarter than the likes of you," with a 'hmph' she turned around, walking towards the alter with hobbling little steps. "Drag that stupid dog over here, will you? I'll be wanting some payment for this help I plan to give you."

Galdof let out a frustrated sigh, as he turned and grabbed Dorian by his shirt collar, dragging him and Vilka over to the witch. He really didn't give a fuck at this point.

Sitting him down by the alter, he yanked Vilka over as well, who glared his way and kicked his shin, quite hard. Galdof bit his lip and held in some curse words, before he turned and slapped Vilka behind her head. "Mmph mhphph-!!" Vilka glared daggers at him, but it wasn't the curse this time. It was just plain old siblings hatred. Galdof rolled his eyes this time, looking toward the witch.

The witch stared at the two fighting siblings for a moment, before glaring, "are you done yet, idiots?" She flashed them a sassy look, before looking to Dorian. "Head over the alter, stupid," he grabbed Dorian by the hair and pulled him up, despite his protests. His hands grabbed onto the sides of the alter for support, as she held his head over the large pool of blood inside, forcing him to stare down into it. Well, that was uncomfortable. Galdof and Vilka probably thought she was going to slit his throat.

Instead, she lifted a hand [which had somehow found another bone], and hit him harshly on the back of the head. With a loud shout of pain, Dorian keeled over, face-planting the bloody pool. Gods, that was horrible. But, it was probably hilarious to the others. He pulled his face back out, spitting out a bloody mess back into the pool.

"Good. Someone give the dog a treat for being such a good boy and providing me with some Werewolf slobber."

Dorian could only glare at her as he tried to wipe the blood from his face.

((holy shit I loVE THIS CHICK))

Galdof was really the only one actually worried for Dorian's sake. Vilka was basically chanting inside her head for the witch to slit his throat, but frowned when she didn't. However, the outcome was almost equally as good.

Both siblings burst out into laughter as his face went straight into the bloody mess. He was always this big old mean grumpy wolf, but to see some old lady best him like this, it was downright hilarious. The siblings had tears in their eyes as he wiped the blood from his face, Vilka pretty much falling over from her laugh attack.
"Oh my gods, Dorian.- Are you okay?"Galdof said once he finally managed to find his voice again, a grin across his face.

"Just peachy," he growled, sitting back down on the rock he had been on. "Crazy old hag."

The woman only shook her head, as if to say, 'I'm not done yet, jackass.' "What, you think it's over? A little Werewolf slobber isn't going to cover the payment." Oh, this was going to be fun for Vilka especially.

She forcefully grabbed his head, prying open his still-sore mouth, despite his protests. Holding open his mouth, she grabbed a pair of stone tweezers, much to Dorian's horror. "I need myself a one of those," she mused, placing the tweezers one of his sharpest teeth. Without warning, she yanked the tooth straight out of the poor guy's mouth, dropping the tooth in the palm of her hand as Dorian fell off his seat, writhing in pain as blood spurted out of his mouth. "Thank you," she smiled, examining the tooth. "Oh look, my little boy's growing! You're teeth were half the size the last time I did this! This'll be good for some hocus pocus, yes?" Just as Vilka had managed to stand up, she saw what was probably the best thing ever (at least for this side of her), and fell over in laughter again. Galdof had to cover his mouth with a hand to hold in the laughter that threatened to escape, but Vilka had no problem in expressing her amusement.

"Uh, this is for helping us, right? This isn't just unnecessary pain?" Galdof asked, but he really had no problem with it. Looking down at Dorian, he couldn't help but flash a smirk- the same kind that Vilka did when she was amused.

The old woman looked to Galdof with a serious expression. "It's for both," she responded. "You know, now that I think about it, I might need a human tooth too." She didn't, but she just wanted to tease Galdof. "The chompers you have there seem about right."

Dorian was rolling around on the floor, whining as he tried to stop the blood flow in his mouth, but the woman was quick to help him... But dragging him up and putting a vial under his mouth. "Now now, puppy. Don't let that precious blood go to waste. Do you have any idea how many Werewolves I see? Not many, boy. And you can never have enough Werewolf blood." With that, she pushed the vial into his hands so he could let the blood drop into it himself, and then pet his head in a somewhat motherly manner. "Good boy. Welcome home."

Vilka watched this all with a wide grin, though it couldn't be seen. She found this particularly amusing, seeing Dorian in pain like this. "Wait, home?" Galdof raised a brow, before he sighed and shook his head. "I don't need to know.." He really just wanted Vilka fixed, and to get out of there. It reeked of blood and guts, and it was something he didn't exactly like smelling.

"Yes, yes," she reached forward and pat Galdof's head. "Well done, you're learning. Are you my little Dori's friend?" She didn't even wait for an answer. She walked away from Galdof, and snatched the vial from Dorian's hand, before tipping it into the alter. "Gods, I seem to have misplaced Hope," she turned away from them, her odd sentence floating around. "Dori, where's my cat?"

Dorian glared at her, and pointed a little away from them. "Over there. And it stinks. Gods, you need a new one."

She laughed and nodded, wandering off. A few seconds later, she returned, carrying what looked like a dead cat, that seemed to be missing a tail, a paw, an eye and an ear. Gods, this woman was crazy. "Alright lovies, this is Hope, and she'll be providing a very important ingredient." She placed the dead carcass [which stunk to high heavens, by the way], on a small pedestal nearest to Dorian. Dorian had immediately got up and stumbled away, as the smell, especially to a Werewolf, was enough to drive him insane.

The woman reached down with a knife, and began sawing off another paw. Once off with a sickening crunch of the bone, she picked it up with a soft 'thank you, Hope, darling', and dropped it straight into the alter.

Vilka raised her hands to manage a wave at the cat as she was introduced, even though her hands were bound together. She had a wide grin still on her face from the sight- all of this was quite fun and exciting to her. Galdof however was not enjoying this scene, and muttered a "gods, disgusting" under his breath as he followed after Dorian, the smell becoming too much to bear.

"Do you think we could maybe speed this up? My magic won't hold off forever," Galdof said as he glanced to Vilka, who was staring him down with those predator eyes. She could tell his magic was weakening. It was just a few more moments and she'd be free to attack whomever she pleased, and do whatever she wanted.

"We're almost done, boy," she spoke. She picked the cat up from the pedestal, and threw it in a forgotten corner. "Dear," she looked down at Vilka. "I need some of that blood of yours. But I know that you don't mind, do you?" She brought a knife to Vilka's arm, slicing at the flesh, and letting the blood seep onto the woman's hand.

She pulled away, smothering her own arms and hands with it. "You- The tall one," she pointed at Galdof. "Get back here and bring your sibling to the alter. You look strong enough for what's about to happen."

The woman stepped behind the alter, and put her bloodied hands together. "Hurry now, before I take your head and forcefully feed my darling little Dori with it." Gods, she was crazy. And deadly serious too.

Vilka watched as the woman approached, no fear in her eyes at all. As the blade met her arm, she only uttered a muffled laugh, almost pleased to see the new wound that had formed.

Galdof raised a brow as he was called- well, he had never been called "tall one" before, even though he knew he was in fact quite tall. With a nod, he pulled on the magic rope and dragged Vilka closer to the alter.

As if realizing what was going to happen, Vilka suddenly narrowed her eyes and dug her heels into the ground, not allowing herself to move forward. Galdof stopped and turned to her, giving a loud sigh as he forcibly grabbed her by the arm and yanked her over to the alter, plopping her down in front of it. "Mmrmrrphmrrp!" Vilka tried struggling, but her sibling held her in place.

"Alright," the woman spoke, her tone serious and demanding. "All you have to do, is shove her head straight down into the blood. There are various things inside, all of which will fuse and give the answer you seek. Do not be afraid to hold her under, even if she begins to drown. You must not let her resurface, until I tell you so."

This was not something that a brother should be expected to do. And it would more than likely be very tough on him.

Galdof stopped, staring at the woman with wide eyes. Even if she begins to drown? He couldn't do that to his sister! "Wh.. I--.." He looked at her for a moment, as if waiting for her to break into a grin and say 'just kidding!' But when that didn't come, he turned to look at Vilka, who was looking back at him with wide eyes. "...Isn't there another way?"

"There is not," the woman answered.

Dorian had returned shortly after, standing beside the woman, despite the pain she'd caused him. "Trust her, Galdof," Dorian mumbled gruffly. He wouldn't want Vilka to drown. Hell, drowning was one of his biggest fears. He didn't want anyone near anything in which they could drown. But he trusted this woman with this life, despite how much she had harmed him in just the past 10 minutes alone.

"But I'd recommend she take a deep breath."

Looking between the two, Galdof let out a sigh, looking back at Vilka. She looked up at him with eyes that basically said 'if you put me anywhere near that thing I will cut your head off', but that wouldn't stop him from getting his sister back. "Sorry," He said in a quiet voice, before he quickly pushed her head down into the blood. Vilka only had time to take in a sharp breath and shut her eyes, her foot repeatedly kicking Galdof's leg quite hard.

Gods, he just had to hold her in there long enough.

The woman immediately set to work, rubbing her bloodied hands together as he whispered in an old, forgotten language. She shut her eyes, and put her hands down on the sides of the alter, her voice gradually getting louder. The blood pool rumbled, and began to turn a deep purple as Vilka thrashed about, and then what looked to be a black stain started spreading in the liquid, the source of it seeming to be Vilka's head.

Galdof watched with wide and surprised eyes. What the hell was happening?

After what seemed like ages of his ankle being kicked, Galdof's grip on her tightened. "I- can't hold the magic any longer--" He said with slight pain in his voice, before the magic holding Vilka's hands together faded. Feeling herself free, the woman quickly reached up and grabbed Galdof by his collar, before she slammed his head off the side of the alter. He didn't let go, however, keeping her head down in the liquid.

Gods, so much drama.
Dorian even tried to help, moving over and helping to hold Vilka down. He grabbed hold of her wrists, using all the strength he had to hold her in place and provide less damage to Galdof.

The alter began to rumble and vibrate, as the woman then reached into the alter, and bubbles began popping up on the surface.

Galdof now had a bloodied nose, thanks for his dear sister.
Vilka was trying with all her might to get away. The darker side of her knew what was happening, and it wanted to stay. No, it didn't want to leave her just yet.

Vilka also didn't like the fact that she was drowning, unable to get any air. Yeah, she was pretty much ruined for swimming any time after this.

Now she could understand why Dorian hated water. Gods, he'd been held under water countless times, and it terrified him.

The old woman grit her teeth, annoyed at how stubborn she was being. She put her hands on Vilka's head, looking up the cave ceiling, where her eyes flicked white as she moaned out a few old words in foreign tongue.

As she continued to speak in the foreign language, Vilka could feel herself start to slip, whether it be because she was drowning, or because the magic was working.

She had slowly started to struggle less, but that only made Galdof worry more. Gods, how long would this go on for?

The woman knew what she was doing. She knew very well so. As she witnessed the struggling lessen, she slowly began to lessen her grip on the young woman. "Up," she commanded, gesturing for Galdof to pull her up again.

Galdof looked at the old woman and quickly but carefully lifted Vilka out of the liquid. She wasn't breathing for a moment, before she suddenly took a sharp breath and began to cough, feeling like her lungs would explode.

The old witch pulled a cloth out from her sleeve and cupped Vilka's face in her hands. "Breathe, child. You're alright," she spoke in a somewhat motherly tone, beginning to wipe the blood from her face.

It took a few moments, but Vilka was finally able to stop coughing, panting lightly. Her hands shook slightly as she fell to her knees, opening her eyes. The blackness had disappeared completely, and her eyes had returned to the bright blue they once were. For the first time, Dorian would be seeing her without her war paint on, seeing as it had washed off.

Without her war paint? Gods, she was beautiful. Well, she was beautiful even /with/ war paint. Dorian stared at her for a good while, before he kneeled down beside her, holding hid hand out to her. "V-Vilka? How do you feel?"
