I would say night elf myself. Because drow (dark elves) have less blueish, darker skin, their eye-color is different and drow are weak to light, which this picture has plenty.

drow im betting. Because of the dark background, skin tone, clothing, wepon, and mainly the size of the ear. Plus it has its own story from a country and i dont think a story like that would contain a nightelf.

A folktale from somebody's country wouldn't have a Drow Elf either. Drow are a Dungeons & Dragons invention.
