Bloodied coughsAs my heart claws its way up
Into my throat
So I choke
A sob so deep
Each breath surprising
How can I still be alive
When crying like this?
Nothing in my stare
As I wait on my bed
Just darkness and pain

I really like the last two lines. Those times where you just wish you could be anywhere else, doing anything else, rather than being where you are.
Conversely, there's not many better feelings than having moments when you can say; there's nowhere I'd rather be, than right here, right now.
Anyway, I really like this poem. It speaks a lot of truth.

staring into ones own empty reflection is often a realisation to the harshness of the world, dont ever let the weight of the world bring you down, realise that there will never be an answer, accept that those who are in pain will be, and those who are happy will eventaully break down.. after all, everyond dies, but not everyone has the strength to live.
