Description
Dampened skinand flickering candles
As the storm rages on
The trees double over in the sudden gust of wind
Harsh strikes of lightening make us flinch
As the winds ease
And the rain falls at no angle
The sky still rumbles
with the distant illuminations
and we light another candle

I really like the second stanza of this. ...we light another candle... Kinda of like life goes on, and that sort of thing. Anyway, it's a good poem, kind of soothing.

I agree with silent screamer, this is simultaneously harsh yet vivid. Well done.

simply beautiful
I like the final line ties back in with the start of the poem by talking about candles.
good work.
