Well hello and goodmorning all! I'm in a particularly good mood today and hoping you are all sharing in the awesomeness of this hot yet beautiful day. Got some art for you! This is "Phoenix Rising" and truthfully, wish I could think of a better name that isn't so campy. If you think of one, please share!

Look into the abyss and watch it swirl

it is the nothingness that separates us with a wall

away from those who care, who would harm or love

come out of it tattered, shredded and barely recognizable

but come out of it knowing more of yourself

and once realized, the loss is no more

These are all completely digital paintings with textures, filters, brushes used in conjunction with the aid of a mouse and Wacom board. They are both simple and complex with varying amounts of time dedicated to each painting. I use only "Creative Commons Zero Attribute" references unless specified otherwise.
