What I make of the image is Ada's legs are angled to draw attention to the heads of Ada and Chris. So what I like about the image is the light in the background, like Chris is the light bringer to Ada in a dark place. If that is what understood of your previous works, Ada is the one who is shrouded in darkness while Chris is one that provides some light in her life.
Chris is the light bringer, and Ada is the one in darkness. It's an inverse of the usually isolated man who has a dark past. Of course, Ada has a darkness because of her life as a spy make meaningful relationships would be difficult.
When the two are depicted together as a couple, the light is seductive as a power couple.
