i'm quite content with the look of the figures. but those colors...oh my...
all in all i think there is something missing but i can't figure out what...
anyways...it's done. next one.

Perhaps it is simply something faint in the distance - or the hint of it. The feeling it gives me is strangely peaceful. No tension at all.

that's the problem. something in the distance would do it, but then the theme of the whole picture would be destroyed.

Das sieht echt super aus, und die Idee ist auch cool!
Was ist denn verkehrt an den Farben?
Und fehlen tut auch nicht wirklich was, du hΓ€ttest hΓΆchstens die Figur im Vordergrund noch etwas nΓ€her/grΓΆΓer machen kΓΆnnen, aber so gravierend ist das auch nicht.

an den farben stΓΆrt mich diese triste gedΓ€mpfte wirkung. gut, es passt schon zum thema, aber etwas mehr kontrast hΓ€tt ich mir gewΓΌnscht. und vielleicht nicht diesen gelbstich auf dem boden...
mit der figur im vordergrund hast du vermutlich auch recht.
nun ja...das nΓ€chste kommt bestimmt. da mach ichs wieder besser.

This is really, really cool...but I know what you mean when you say something is missing. It's something about the depth of the piece. I would try adding some lighting from the sides down low maybe or add some highlights to the clouds. I know in composing my own pieces that the lighting can make all the difference in the world!

i thought the cracks would do it. but well...
you're right, some kind of different lighting could be useful. but i've decided to leave it as it is and care for the next painting.
