What about a focal point for the lost ones? A change of hue to lead your eyes to where they are all grabbing. Or something really really tiny with a bit of bright colors to pull your eyes ALL the way back. An empty house perhaps or something like this. The empty house that expectation built.

yeah...something in the background...maybe this would do it. someone suggested a lightning flash, which i think would add some real drama to it. but i think the background needs to be empty, cause that's what they're looking at. the viewer should ask himself, why they just don't turn their heads and look into the sunlight, instead of staring in this grey emptiness. something in the background would give a reason to it. but that was not my idea, you know?

Das ist ganz schön gut.
In der Preview dachte ich erst "Photomanipulation". Sehr cool. Dein Talent ist beneidenswert... aber ich beneide dich sehr gerne.
Ach, und m.E. fehlt nix. Ich finde, du hast intuitiv genau das rübergebracht, was es ausdrückt: Erwartungen. Sorgt für viel Eigeninterpretation beim Betrachter.

aber danke dir tausend mal! schön, wenn man nicht ganz zufrieden ist, aber die anderen doch positive meinungen haben.

ja, intuitiv war es mit sicherheit. aber leider trau ich meiner intuition nicht immer so recht über den weg.

Ich selbst bin ja schizophren veranlagt, was das Thema betrifft... einerseits total verkopft, auf der anderen Seite intuitiv, was meine Herangehensweise betrifft.

Im Grunde glaube ich jedoch, dass man immer richtig liegt, wenn man seiner Intuition folgt. Der Ratio ist m.E. dafür da, die Feinarbeit auszudenken, logische Fehler auszuschließen und all das.

Wir hören alle viel zu wenig auf unseren Bauch. Weil wir denken, unsere Logik würde uns im Vorhinein vor Fehlern bewahren. Stimmt aber erfahrungsgemäß nicht, behaupte ich. (Damit meine ich unser gesamtes Leben, nicht nur die "Kunst".)

So, genug dein Bild vollgespämmt mit meinen persönlichen Ansichten.

ach, ich mag immer kommentare unter meinen bildern.
außerdem hast du ja was sinnvolles geschrieben, deshalb ists kein spam.
ich gehe da ähnlich heran wie du.
ich glaube auch, wir haben angst davor, unsere eingebung könnte nicht "intelligent" genug sein. intelligent kann nur sein, was tausendmal hinterfragt, verbessert und 10 mal durchdacht wurde. aber bestimmt gibt es eine andere intelligente kraft in uns, von der wir keine wirkliche ahnung haben, wir verbohrten menschen...

I think the colors works very well and there is a good balance throughout the piece. Im very fond of the figures against the cloudy sky. It has an intimidating effect.
