There in the dark, in the quiet beyond the light, dwells the greedy, grasping thing which waits.You cannot run from it and you cannot hide from it, for it is chained to your mind
This poster was created using the default skull and hands which are available in the Poser4 library but because of the texturing and post-production airbrushing which were preformed they bear little resemblance to their original appearance.
The intial setup and rendering were preformed using Bryce4, with the Poser models being imported.
The horns are composed of terrain forms, which were quite crude, full of artifacts and harsh angles- but this was solved through extensive post-production airbrushing which essentially resulted in a complete recreation of them.
The lighting consists of about a half dozen Ranged Radial Lights to establish the rough illumination scheme which was modified afterwards by post-production airbrushing.

That actually reminds me of that god that the ppl in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom were worshiping, and those hand with the chains where the sacrificial cages were hung from.

This may not be my style, but I'm drawn to the composition of this. Very very powerful! There's a lot of art that is pretty, but not a lot that really seems to "jump forth" from the screen. Well done, Daniel!

This looks really cool. The contrast between the dark background and the white of the skulls and hands, and the lighting makes it look like it's really emerging out of the darkness. The detail and texture in the horns and chains look wonderful, and the rusty color of the chains does a nice job of adding subtle color to the render. Great work!

I like the twisted horns and the depth of this piece mate,the only suggestion i can think of making is to ad more to the image,i think you could take this one alot futher!
