Description
This is one of The Scout's weapons from Team Fortress 2, a quad-barrel "pepperbox" pistol which in-game behaves like a shotgun.This is largely a wooden prop, with a sanded grip and some cardboard bitz for detail. The barrels are paper towel tubing.

I used to own a COP (conceiled offduty police) pistol, looks alot like this. look it up. 357. Magnum. Rotating hammer with 4 firing pins, I had a bad shell whose primer was not seated deep enough and when the firing pin ruptured the primer the back pressure blew the other 3 pins forward. really hurt my hand, but what a muzzleblast!!!

actually it's a deriger pistol. and there is a revolver out there that fires shotgun shells. [link]
