I love this! Fantastic shot! I got a shot of a spider in my house. I've no idea what kind it was. I'd never seen one like it before. It was in my sunroom which has vaulted ceilings, so I couldn't reach it to catch it, and let it go, but I did manage to get a shot of it. However, it was too far away to get all four eyes like your shot. You can see them, best I remember, but they are not near as delineated.

most of the spiders i saw are hiding but it's a bit different with the jumping spider! the most difficult is to see them, they are so little!

I tried to figure out whether there was ever a jumping spider pic you've uploaded I didn't "jump" at like "OHMYGODISTHISCUTE!!!". Well, it happened again. After that I'm showing the photo to others like "Isn't this cute??!!" and they're most times like - eh... no... it's a spider...

In Texas, there's a black jumping spider that has a white "Smiley Face" on its carapace. When I was young, my cousins and I called them, "Have a Nice Day" spiders. I also love jumping spiders. I've spent hours watching them circumnavigate the walls and ceiling of my bedroom, like tiny, all-terrain automatons... great photo!
