for b&w i like big contrast so this one didn't attract me but maybe i'm wrong... Here there is sometime fog but with work it's not easy to be available the good day!!

Especially if only the blue channel is used, or almost only, so as to reduce what becomes a distracting path of lightness with the yellower bush at middle right.

Yes, the good thing with shooting digitally you could do both in color and b&w. I do it quite frequently especially when the highlights get blown out in the color version and I end up converting it to b&w. Cheers!
