Bio: Pierce grew up in the crappy part of Rustboro City with his mom, dad, younger brother, and older sister. Because they lived in a poor area of the city, Pierce had to attend the closest elementary school, which wasn’t very good. Since his parents wanted him to have a better education, they lied about their home address and registered him at a public school in the much nicer side of town. There, he met Alan, a rich spoiled Zubat. They instantly became friends and remained so until high school. Thanks to this better school, Pierce developed a love for the sciences and music. He wasn’t great in the battling and physical aspects of school, but he wasn’t mediocre either. Because Pierce maintained excellent grades, he was offered a scholarship to attend PokeAcademy, where he would attend for the next 3 years.

At PA, a lot of good things happened for Pierce. He met some of his closest friends, Ellie and Quillan, and even had his first legit girlfriend, Bayley. Thanks to some of the upper classmen like Rio and Sakura, Pierce became interested in battling and on a few occasions, they battled with him and taught him how to become a better at it. Pierce enjoyed it so much that by the time he graduated, he had grown a lot of levels and his main interests were music and battling. At this point, Pierce knew that he no longer wanted to continue learning science, instead wanting to follow his passion for music.

On the other side of things, some unfortunate events happened as well. Right before the beginning of his second year, his mother passed away in a car accident. This left Pierce quite emotionally drained throughout the whole year, causing his grades to drop, and almost have his scholarship removed. During the break between his 2nd and 3rd year, he got into a bad fight with his father, after which he ran away. He lived with his friend Alan for this duration, and since Alan wasn’t the best influence, Pierce experienced a lot of ‘new’ things. After calming down, he came back home, but only so he could get his things together to return to PA for his final year. All of these things sort of fueled his new found interest in fighting, as it became a sort of defense mechanism for not having to deal with his problems.

During the last year of PA, Pierce’s grandmother passed away and left him an inheritance in the form of a trust fund that he could use after he graduated. Pierce used it so he could move out, attend HoU, and support his hedonistic lifestyle.
