I kind of, sort of liked the new tron... but really I grew up with the original and regardless of what people say, it is STILL a bit of a marvel special-effects wise, especially considering how painstaking they were to create.

The NAME thing annoyed me more than anything! CLU, TRON, RAM - all computer coding/program based stuff. TRON Legacy was a great movie, but it kind of entirely lost the POINT that they're meant to be *programs* inside a *computer*. It was set in a wonderful, gorgeous sci fi world, and totally forgot what it was MEANT to be
And I still have no idea what the hell those ISO things were all about. I'm holding hope that it's just a First Movie and the next ones, now the world has been set up, will be amazing, but who can tell.

They weren't imaginative with it enough.
Take the 'let's dress the poor sod' scene. Why weren't the ladies locked into tracks on the floor? Walking in heels is too slow! And why didn't they have six hands each, so that they were suited for the job?
They really didn't push the boat out.
And the 'special' pokemo... I mean program. She didn't look different to me at all. X/
