It's Vyse from SoA. I got bored and decided to draw him some fan art.Land has just been spotted. ^_^
Yeah....my background was pretty lazy....but it's meant to be his ship and the sky.... so yay.
I quite like how this turned out considering there was a lot of guess work. XD I knew he had an eyepatch, and the red scarf...and a love of buckles. XD Huzzah. So I hope anyone who enjoyed the game, enjoys the picture.

I borrowed it off a friend (the cube version) and wasted hours playing the game but, damn, I consider those hours well spent.

I agree with you to! i have played through the first few hours like 5 times without a memory card ust for the fun of it and gotten about half way throught the game and almost ot the end a few tiems( i lost data)

Oh man, I hate it when you lose data D= I've lost plenty of data over the year, but yeah it's a fun game and seemed both light hearted and epic at the same time. =3

i always hate losing it D: but at the same time its good to keep playing through it, its so fun its hard to get annoyed when you lose data. i always found everyone in the game more likeable than alot of the cast from the final fantasy games

Yeah, the characters were enjoyable =3 it probably helped that they were pirates!
Also not really played many FF games but the ones I have played a bit of I didn't enjoy the characters as much.

FF is pretty good up until 7 where every characther is almost the exact same minus equipment and limit breaks since you can equip any spell and such to anyone

Well the only real FF game I played was FF3 which I completed, and was happy with the simple little story that went with it.
Save the world, short cutscenes, and I think minimal amount of spelling/grammar errors. (Seriously, I know FF7 had some great errors in there, like it's random changing of what swear words were allowed past censorship, and what wasn't each time.)
I tried FF7 but my mate's disc was bust, so didn't get very far because it kept black screening of death, and started FF10 but after a half an hour long dull cutscene that presumably was meant to add some character development, whilst I waited patiently for a save point and was almost late for some social event, I never really bothered to get that far in either lol.

The FF game i actually like is FF2 because it didnt have any of that preachy narative(FF7 was less subtle than Avatar with the enviormental stuff) and FF10 is a pretty good game when you get into it since it actually has a pretty good story and minus tidus none of the characthers are that annoying XD

Really? Man... I might have to look into digging out the ol' PS2 again and try to get back into it, I think I can handle an annoying character... =3

Hahahaha, yus I plan to =3 I went on the hunt for the game today, but with no such luck. For some reason SoA is the game I always go back to to draw fan art for. So far it's only been Vyse though that's been drawn, but eventually hope to draw the others too.

I think you should draw Drachma next if your just going to do a single characther, he was always my second favorite

Well Drachma is pretty cool =3 I was never sure who was my second favourite after Vyse...because there was too much choice and none of the characters really annoyed me enough to make an easy rank system. lol

Hahahahaahha! Somehow he didn't annoy me. I think it was because he could at least fight, and on my game I remember him actually being pretty damn good. Though that could just have been down to my luck lol, or getting lost in a dungeon for ages meaning that he levelled up like hell. >> <<

I don't know, I never had a dreamcast D= so the only version I got to play was SoA: legends. Which fortunately had less randomly random battles and some cool extra stuff in it =3 (Like how Vyse got his scar and more pirates to beat!)
That SoA was difficult to come across where I live anyway, even when there was a sudden boom in gaming shops, that's why I had to borrow it lol XD
