....There are just no words to describe how nerve-wracking this ruin is- you escape the creeping crab Reaverbots (I turn the camera around to watch for them), then run pell-mell and screaming from the ninja assas- the Sharukurusu, then it's killer fish.... And then, Garudoriten. You know the yellow block is a Reaverbot, you just don't expect it to be that bad...

This ruin scared me so much that I stopped playing the game for about a year

Going through this ruin the first time is like being in a Predator movie- you hear the clanking of their feet, but you can never see those Sharakusuru coming before they knock you off your feet. When you run away, you think you're safe, on the upper platforms- that's when they CHASE you!!
Even to this day, I hate those reaverbots....

We are connected. Connected by hate.

the only logical step up from fear, the emotion that joins us together.
our hatred of the invisible Sharakurusu.

I always hated those guys. Though, my friend and I did have a moment that cracks me up. One of those guys sneak-attacked him in the room off to the left of where you first encounter them, where that treasure chest is. He turned to leave, then suddenly we hear those charging footsteps and see one of these guys decloak.

They'd always managed to jump to a ledge where I thought I'd be safe, and it's weird because normal Sharakurusu don't seem to be able to jump that high-- but not these guys...
-shudder-

Well, when you first get into that big room, there's actually one who starts up on the balcony with you. I suspect he may actually be in the room with the chest. If you pay attention, you can normally hear him jumping off. That one time, however, he didn't.

If you see them at all.
worst of all, there'll be two or three in the area at once...

Shield Arm is surprisingly useful in that dungeon...

Wh-
How so? Doesn't it only defend against projectiles?

Nope. It defends against melee attacks as well, can flip the turtle-ish reaverbots if you don't feel like kicking them, and can even block the boss's dive attack.
I'm not sure but I think the Legends 2 version is a bit watered down. I haven't experimented with it as much.
