Thanks. Yes I can see some similarities in a few of our shots.

Hey Rebecca, very nice. At first I thought this was a snowstorm. Then I noticed there was no snow in front of the tree. It is a thought provoking image.

No it was really foggy and instead of a plain white photo with a tree silhouette I thought I'd play with it. The charcoal tool created the snowy effect.

I rethought this and it was bugging me so I tilted it 1 degree to the right.

I love the softness of it. It's a happy grey feeling instead of a depressing one. Nice job.

Thanks. We had just crossed the border at Sarina when we hit the fog and saw the trees. The composition was there so I tried to make a boring fog photo a little more interesting.

You did a great job.
I love the crossing at Sarnia and even though I head NE of Toronto when I come up it's the best place we've found to do it. Detroit and Niagara have given us problems many times for nothing.

Yes it does seem to be the best and fastest crossing. Also the I94 leads right to the I75 which starts at your door. We found it a long haul driving down through New York State on our way to Florida but we wanted to stop in DC for a day.

I've come home through Niagara without a problem and I love taking the more easterly route because going through the mountains is so pretty.

One day I'll either not be the driver or I'll pull off and take some pictures. Or so I keep telling myself. The problem is that I feel the pull of "home" almost as soon as I get behind the wheel and I do the drive in as little time as possible with about 5 hours of sleep breaking it up.

We always take 3-4 days to get to Florida. We got home in 2 1/2 this time which is a record I think. Richard does all the driving. I'm not sure why, he just does. Once in a blue moon he'll ask me to take over for a bit but that's when we have to be somewhere at a specific time and he's tired. I still don't get to take many pictures because it really doesn't work very well out of a moving car.

Because we still work we've always got the time crunch and we have so many friends and family to visit that the trip is always done in a hurry. If my husband comes it's very rare. He'll usually go by himself about 6 months or so after me and that way we get to check on his dad more often. I'll have to try taking pictures from a moving car and see what I get. I've never tried it.

Sometimes you can get something through the front window, if there's no reflection, but side shots are a waste of time.

Doesn't sound like it's worth worrying about. Guess I'll just sit back and soak in the scenery.

Elements 4. I keep thinking about upgrading and then think Why? It pretty much has everything I'll ever use and I'm still learning.

Interesting - I think it would look better if you could erase the effect from the silhouette though. Nice work anyway. ^^
